Andrewgeddon Posted January 30, 2018 Report Share Posted January 30, 2018 So I'm pretty fresh faced when it comes to Malifaux (2 games in), but it's quickly becoming my primary go-to game after 9th Age. Have built some hype in my group of friends, and have gotten my brother and a buddy to pick up crew boxes. I'm probably buying more minis than anyone just learning the game reasonably should, but I'm very much a "dive in with both feet" kinda guy. I'm curious what the interest level for a Friday 1 day Malifaux event at OFCC would be? Anyone on the fence on trying to run something? If someone did run the event, who would be down to play? We could do a 3 game 2018 gaining grounds format. Hopefully we could garner some interest and set this up. We do have a community out here they just arent on Ordo. I'm not sure if OFCC has a minimum attendance requirement for an event to fire off though, I'm seeking clarification now. If we can get something to fire off, I would certainly welcome your help Matt! I'm still wet behind the ears to all this, heh. Luckily GG18 seems pretty comprehensive. Andrewgeddon Posted February 1, 2018 Author Report Share Posted February 1, 2018 Looking into this; Doing a bit of realistic soul searching, running an event at OFCC might be taking on a little more than I can handle. I have a bad habit of getting excited and planning things when I'm at work, only to get home and remember "oh yeah, I have a 9 moth old, a million hobby projects, and zero free time." Not backing out as quickly as I threw my hat in the ring (yet), but I've got a lot to think about. At the very least, I would love to make Friday a day to get in some pick up games of Malifaux; have some drinks, play some games... still lots of fun, but much less pressure off my shoulders.
