generalripphook Posted June 6, 2018 Report Posted June 6, 2018 Hey Jim, I had a thought have you thought about different end of game conditions? Like maybe when the value cards run out thats the end of game and you play out that round. Or maybe a limited number of customers? Quote
Fix Posted June 6, 2018 Report Posted June 6, 2018 How did we run out of value cards, anyway? I can't remember that ever happening before. Quote

Maybe we had more distributed at each of the auctions. We talked about having one dedicated value stack for auctions and one for general draws. 1 Quote
Munkie Posted June 7, 2018 Report Posted June 7, 2018 I think the 5 dice was probably a contributing factor, but I haven't played any other incarnation so I can't compare. Since I won, I think the game is perfect in every way and shouldn't be altered. I'm terrible at Damage, on the other hand, so that game needs a complete overhaul. 1 1 Quote
VonVilkee Posted June 7, 2018 Report Posted June 7, 2018 with the reduction in other activities from the board and the distribution to the auction houses that is how we ran out. Quote
JMGraham Posted June 19, 2018 Report Posted June 19, 2018 Ran out, but could still reshuffle to refresh. I definitely think the combo of five dice plus reduced costs were the culprits. The problem with variable end conditions is that that last round for selling things off is really important. You have to plan for it throughout. If the end were a surprise, I think a bunch of folks would just be caught with their pants down. I want everyone to have the experience of taking in cash hand over fist at some point in the game. JMGraham Posted June 19, 2018 Report Posted June 19, 2018 Also, I need to check the forums more often because I just saw this thread! 1 Quote
