barca
Start thinking about Flames-of-War D-Day-themed and Normandy-themed events you would like in the second half of this year, June through December. Lots of "New! Shiny!" in the Battlefront release schedule. See "Flames Of War: Late War Journey" https://www.flamesofwar.com/hobby.aspx?art_id=6359 Anyone who wants to continue on with Mid-war should also "speak up" Post your wishes / ideas here. What battles / scenarios? Which force match-ups? Specific Units you plan on building and using Lend-Lease ideas

ZEKE
I am planning on dedicating Glider Rifle Company for anything D-day related. Would still like to take it up against Buette-Panzers for historical reasons (see laFiere Causeway). After that it would be 4th armor div for Bulge. Then Remagan related stuff (chaffees/pershings/jacksons) for Late-Late war.
Souldier3
I am still planning on organizing another mega battle in July which would be a large Stalingrad table (mid war). I am totally fine with doing both mid war events and late war events though!
phyfor88
I have Germans and British/ Canadians for D day period. I will not be abandoning mid war for late war. But it will be fun to have options again.
barca
All good input. I will find a way to weave together Mid-War North Africa, Mid-War Russian Front, Late-War NW Europe and Team Yankee. Any ideas for that are welcome. My initial thought is to offset our events by one month when compared to BF releases, since our local stores seem to get product later than the release dates. Also we want to account for time for painting/assembly/list building before having each event. QUES: should I build in a longer delay? If yes, then how much? QUES: Any volunteers for hosting an event? QUES: If we had themed events on one Saturday each month, announced 3 or more weeks in advance, would anyone show up? If not, then are there other suggestions for scheduling an event for 4-6 players? Here is a draft of Late-War themes and timing, following the BF release schedule: June: Fun lists and missions that were not competetive at ENFILADE, but are interesting in a non-competetive setting July Portland Flames of War group (RCDD), we will address these Late-War releases: June 2019, Fortress Europe June 2019, FURY and Hit the Beach: June 2019, Army Deals AUG Portland Flames of War group (RCDD), we will address this release: July 2019, American D-Day Book, at least: D-Minus 1 Formations: Parachute Rifle Company, Glider Rifle Company SEP Portland Flames of War group (RCDD), we will address these Late-War releases: D-Day Formations from the American D-Day Book Breakout Formations from the American D-Day Book OCT Portland Flames of War group (RCDD), we will address these Late-War releases: September 2019, German D-Day Book: September 2019, D-Day Landing Terrain Set: September 2019, Bloody Omaha - Ace Campaign: NOV Portland Flames of War group (RCDD) TANKS-giving: TBD
