ZeroStride
Just got back from the GW store over in Eastport and got a demo game of Apocalypse. It definitely works at small (regular-size 40k) scale as well as large scale. We played 100 power level (which is roughly 2000pts in 40k). It was snappy, fast, and fun, and that was without the command asset cards. The store owner said that when they got their demos/training in Dallas the other store owners and he played lots of those 100 power level games, and they take about 1.5 hours. Detachments are very easy and flexible, they only require 3 troops. HQ is optional. Overall, it seems like it will be fantastically fun for small as well as huge games. Looking forward to painting up some jetbikes for my clown-friends 🎭 1
Sgt. Rock
Glad to hear it goes smoothly. I got invited to a buddy's yearly event up north at his place... usually 6-8 guys bringing whatever the hell they have on hand (I know my friend is going to be fielding at least two Warhounds) so it'll be a day long affair. WestRider
Excellent! I'm definitely going to have to look into getting people into that, then.
