Torg
just looking at this game - stumbled onto a painted mini on-line and now I am checking out the esthetic - love it. Watched a quick demo online and it looks super simple lol. Anyhow - anyone play this local pdx area? -d
generalripphook
Yes it is so much fun. Loren (intritz) and I play in Bellingham and its loads of fun. The saying "Everything dies" is very very true.
Torg
I d/l the rules..free online... it looks like a quick and easy game to learn and to teach newbie mini-gamers. Appears to be a true skirmish game to me. How would you describe it? I am thinking I will pick up a couple starters maybe (after I read through the rulebook)... something that will be fun to paint... and enough to dink around with. -d
generalripphook
Its a very fun game that is very easy to pick up. Each of the factions have very nice synergies between many of their models and the game is meant to be played at two point levels 1000 and 500. The starter box stuff is the start for 1000 point games. mechanics are very fun, kinda make your own token heavy sort of game, The missions are all very interesting. Guest Mr. Bigglesworth
The game is very fun to play if you can find someone to throw down some twenties with you.

jesselowe
I believe Guardian has a few starter boxes. Been a while since I saw them, though - call and ask.

jesselowe
Just checked at GG. They have a few starters but they're tucked away near the X-wing stuff.
intrizic
I describe it as "Thundarr the Barbarian" for me it catches the fluff quite nicely. http://www.ordofanaticus.com/index.php?/topic/23876-for-those-of-you-that-have-inquired-about-dark-age-apocalypse/
