andy
With The Independent Characters podcast going away, I'm losing one of the two 40K podcasts I listen to (the other being The Overlords). I'm looking for something to fill the gap that'll be left when the ICs go dark -- any suggestions? Most other podcasts I've tried are either targeted at competitive players, of staffed by (trying to be polite here) people who's sense of humor seems... well, pretty juvenile. Or worse, juvenile and terrible production quality Hopefully there's something close to the ICs out there -- though they're a pretty tough act to follow.
Sugarlessllama
Well there is Lost Hemisphere Radio. They are based around Warmachine, however, they have been adding more games to their podcast and spend a lot of time talking about the hobby side of the game. Torg
loving "beer and blotters 40k" myself… and they push hard on the fluffy non competitive play
deadwing34
IC is so great, hands down the best 40k podcast out there, really sad to hear they are quitting. I have not found a good replacement for them yet though. My favorite all around podcast is the D6 Generation, but they don't have much 40k content. andy
I've started in with Masters of the Forge. Not as well produced as the ICs, but seem to be thematically similar.

I listened to a few of their first podcasts but could not get into them. I may have to give them another listen.
andy
Oh, they're not even in the same league as the ICs, but the lack of dick and fart jokes puts them miles ahead of the rest of the pack.
ROGRE
You've already got the goods, the Overlords is where it's at. I actually really enjoy the 11th company as well but they seem to be on hiatus.
andy
Yeah, The Overlords are very good. I even enjoy the song parodies. Well, I did the first 20 times or so ;-)
