The wife has given me Wednesdays off, to play in the Guardian ITC league. And I expect to hit TSHFT for more tournament practice. But, it's time to quit dicking around, and settle on an army and a list to play and get familiar with! I have narrowed it down to 3, and would really appreciate some feedback on which would serve me best. All of these appeal to me on various levels. Dark Angels is a bit of a low hanging fruit. It's too late to get points for best Dark Angel, but I could continue past LVO and work toward that. In a less competitive field, this could actually be an obtainable goal and something to achieve, which is cool. War Convocation is strong, and most of my models are painted. But players far, far, better than me play that army. I'm also concerned the army is too surgical and tactical for my skill level.Tau may end up being strong. I think they'll dominate some armies, and get owned by others. Again, most of the models are close to painted, so that helps. They're relatively straightforward, which might suit me.
