  1. CAPTURE - New classified card. “REQUIREMENTS: Veteran Troop, Elite Troop, or Chain of Command. Objective: At the end of the game, a trooper in a non-Null State whose Troop Classification is Veteran or Elite Troop, or a trooper possessing the Chain of Command Special Skill, must be in base contact with an enemy trooper. The enemy must be in a Null state and be totally inside the enemy’s half of the game table.” As classifieds go, Capture is difficult. First of all, only a handful of models can accomplish the mission. Most armies are not riddled with Veteran, Elite, or Chain of Command options. Secondly, the opposing model must be in a null state. Facing off against NWI and dogged troops is going to make this objective harder. Shock and viral ammo, Double Action or Explosive, or anything that drops a model straight to dead, characteristics that are normally assets are now working against you. Finally, the model must be in the opposing half of the table further reducing the potential targets and increasing the difficulty of accessing the down model. I am betting this will be a dread pull for most players.
  2. Awesome. I am looking forward to meeting you!
  3. In the grand world of the game, there are many ways to play and many places to play. Some people prefer the garage with their good friends. Some like to push the limit of the rules to face stomp their opponents. At Ordo, we like sportsmanship and hobbists. We don't mind losing, but we want it to be a fun game at the hands of an opponent we would gladly play again. We want community builders, not hobby killers. If our style is not yours, go create your own community. We've spent almost 18 years making this one. When you have run over a decade of 40 man tournaments, let us know what works for you.
  4. Painting Modelling: One camouflage silhouette repaired and two more assembled and glued. I put two different ink washes on the Sophotect. This week, I want to assemble my Danavas Hacker. Until the Cold Front shipment comes, it is last model for Vanilla Aleph I have to assemble. Finally, does anybody have a good idea for a substitute for a Proxy Mark 5? I don’t care current model. League I am thinking about missions for the Fall’s Escalation League. @Jay suggested non-standard deployment zone. I am thinking corner sets ups, angle deployments, L deployments, and even deployments where all models must start in off table with a single move to enter the table. If you have ideas, please share! This season, I want to have a bit more emphasis on button pushes and mission achievements over straight killing in addition to teaching the game. Reading I have been reading ITS Season Ten. It is an improvement over last season. The classified deck is better with greater options including options for non-specialists. Medium Infantry gets a boon. The missions are refined. The Highly Classified Intelcom is a clever wrinkle. Data trackers are important, but play a lesser role. It looks like Win.
  5. ITS Season 10: Rules and Missions: Added!
