Willing to sell for $250 if I don't have to ship it. So if you are local or can get someone to bring it to you, its yours for $250. Someone buy this so I can buy my Chaos Space Marines!!!!!

I'm planning on running CS as well once I get my models. I have to say, I don't see what the yang is to the yin that the codex gives you. Where is the take away? I can't take Veteran of the Long War upgrade for most of my units...is that it? Is that the only downside for all of the extra stuff the list gives me?

wrong thread :(

So I like this kit and am planning to have one if not two of these beasts in my CSM force. I have to say I'm a bit confused as to why the MF only has two attacks. I understand it can get an additional two attacks, but that seems pretty lame for a melee only model. And then if you take away the cutters, then that is only two attacks a round. If this was an MC, then I could maybe see it working...but as a walker vehicle...seems like it is destined to get blown up before it ever reaches combat.
If that is the case, then the FF seems like the best choice. Am I missing anything?

Thanks Pretre. I'll be at GN tomorrow if you are planning on attending, otherwise, shoot me a PM and we can figure out a time.

Last chance before ebay.

Yeah, I have to say there is some pretty tempting stuff in there...Nice lot of eldar Dan...shame you are selling it.

I miss the days when Khorne hated Tzeench and visa versa.

Well the plan is to get a DV chaos set, which would include a hellbrute. I don't think I'll want to get more single pose helbrutes...I probably will get the new model at some point since its pretty cool.

hmmmm I have lots of nids...but I think I have a trygon built instead of a mawloc. I do know I don't have gargoyles. not sure about the biovore.

So just thought I'd send out a general request for new CSM kits and see what came back. I own lots of GW armies, FoW, Dystopian Wars, some Warmachine, X-wing, bolt action, Reaper bones, etc. Would also considered assembled kits based on condition. Prefer to trade than spend $$. I also have a NIB Space Hulk game too and the GW 40K city terrain box set, the big one.

Play more Kings of War. Unit sizes and formations are set. ;)
Btw, when are we gonna throw down again NtK?

Not a fan of the Black Legion, but I suppose I could always use my own chapter and just use their rules. I'll have to read up on them once I find a black legion book. Having chosen as troops does sound nice.

Yeah, the problem with Ebay and Btown is that it is tough to find a lot that fits what I want, or is in a condition that I don't mind.
-
Yeah...no....I like the DV models, but like them as one-shots, not something to repeat in my collection.

You could make millions selling chairs with "butt crack cover flaps" to game stores. :)

I like all of those models. The ones I haven't really seen up close would be the raptors...not the greatest I'll admit...but not bad...don't really care for the talons.

Thinking of getting some CSM again simply due to awesome factor of the models. However, I need to do it really smart and cheap. Here is what I was thinking...
New StrikeForce box set. $170ish online somewhere...gives me:
Term Lord (could be built as sorc)
5 terms
5 raptors/talons
10 marines
1 rhino
1 forgefiend/whatever
I then get my hands on a DV set of chaos dudes for about $50...that gives me:
chaos lord
6 chosen
1 helbrute
10 cc cultists
10 range cultists
Which in terms of lists would be:
2 hq
3 elite
3 troops
1 fast
1 heavy
And the points can get around 1300. So if I wanted to take it up to 1500, what would be the way to go? I'm thinking the heldrake.
All said and done, 1500pts of CSM for under $300.

On a somewhat related note, anyone have a CSM codex I could borrow?

I'll assume that the answer is yes due to no reprint of standard unit and gear rules...but thought I'd check. I really don't want to have to spend $100 on two books.

Pacific Rim: 7/10 better than I thought it would be.
Catching Fire: 8/10? its a well done movie...has me wanting to see the next one..thus a high rating
The Muppets - 8/10 great flick...not the newest one though...had me tearing up at parts...love the muppets
Lone Ranger - 7/10 surprised me. Was a good popcorn flick. Not sure what the bad hype was all about.
