Let me be the first to start, as I am looking for a teammate since my OFCC team is all a bunch of jerks. 😛 I am up for anything from standard to crazy 1 model shenanigans. 

Creating new units counts against your points... where as replenishing a unit is free.

Why have a tervigon and no Tgants?

Let me introduce myself a bit. I have been playing 40k since late 3rd edition and attending OFCC for probably around 8 years. I only get in about 1 game a month these days, but I have a decent handle on things. Drinking and throwing dice comes second to only the ass whooping that needs to be handed out to warhamster dollies... @VonVilkee 🙂

There have been a few people that show up last minute and ask for a painting party to slap some basic paint on minis. It happens. Models get broken in transport, people forget units at home and have to ask for loaners... If you want to attend, get a team and a plan, and make it work.

I am not a fan of multiple Lord's of war, even if they are overpriced. I think you will get some funny looks with 2. Plus having just one will allow you to fill out your army a bit more.

I posted the wrong list. It has been altered to get the 'old school' points. But I went with the deathspitters because it is OFCC and I wanted to try them out. Plus shooting tanks and wounding on a 4+ is much better then 5+. Hive guard are solid anti tank. For 2 CP they can shoot twice, and that is plenty of damage to mess up a tank a turn. Less rippers and more melee bugs.

Going for a list that leaves you with a meh... sort of feeling, and I think I nailed it. It's not good, but not terrible.

Oh... vonvilkee brings up a good point. Is using models out of the FW codex and the codex of the army considered two sources? I have a Dimachaeron in my list, but it is FW, so do I have to replace with units from the Tyranid codex to get "going old school"?

Odd, the rates I keep seeing are in the 200 range. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
