For these 5 guys it isn't as CP intensive, but for like 3 CP you can come in 3 inches away then in your shooting phase you have the jackal alphus (if he is near by), help the jackals hit on 3s with their demo charges, and you spend another 2 or 3 CP to throw all the charges at once. It really helps put the hurt on a large target.  

Love the color scheme on the Hgaunts! Were they freshly finished or did you use a shiny gloss on them? I do not see washers on the base, did you weight them or just hope for the best?

Bib and Tucker is an average bourbon that we enjoy sipping straight.

I was also thinking of dropping 6 genestealers and putting in a jackals alphus to help with my mining lasers or my jackals throwing bombs.

EDITED: I am changing my list because I will only have about 8 games in before OFCC. It would not be fair to my opponents to bring a horde army I was not proficient in. So I have gone the opposite direction and will bring a Nidzilla list.

@Romans832 is making his triumphant return. I forced him to come back so that I don't have to answer where he is 9 million times.  @PourSpelur continues to anchor the team and I @PumpkinHead will pretend to know what I am doing and lead the team... Being that the Legend bailed on us, we have picked up my favorite backstabbing teammate and beer hammer opponent, @Skkipper. The lists are tentatively a GSC / Tyranid, eldar, IG tank, and Ork. As the guys get their lists together they will be posting them. Here is to another OFCC, and more drunken shenanigans!

Where did you get the rules for the Orca? My understanding is that the model was discontinued and doesn't have rules for 8th ed.

Screw competition!  I vote more shenanigans like last year!  2 model armies for the WIN!!

A decent pair of hedge trimmers will disconnect the hot tub quick. Or just throw the breaker and unscrew the wires yourself.

In my experience, your small units of acolytes should all have hand flamers or none. They will die to a stiff breeze so paying the points for the heavy weapon is iffy at best. Your jackals are a confused lot. A couple of demo charges wont get you very far. Not sure how well the melee will go for them, you will have to let us know. The aberrants will do work! Also, I love the sanctus with the relic "gift from beyond". The mortal wound on 4+ is nice in general, but a perils test on a psycher is even better.

As this is your first OFCC those of us who have been around the block a few times are just trying to help you out. This is an invitational event, not a tournament. Remember you will be playing people who have probably been drinking, who are casuals, and people of all generalship levels. Like Vonvilkee said, if you pair your lists up to sub-optimal lists will everyone have fun? 

All of them... Find a way to get all of them in your list.

I will vouch for the twins, because who doesn't like playing with twins? We we're second last year in sportsmanship, thanks to @PourSpelur and I, but the twins pulled some weight in that category.

Also, @Skkipper is an awesome dude who I have played with and against, in the same game...

I know you are looking to trade whole armies, but if you decide to part this army out I would be interested in quite a few things.

Since y'all are new we are just imparting some wisdom from "a few" years of OFCC experience. This is not secret knowledge for those that have done this in the past, but it is useful knowledge for first timers.  People brew all sorts of drinks, mead, beer, and cider (I make my version of Apple Pie moonshine).
