Salamanders are making a decent case to be in the top. I like white scars too.

I just learned there is a section where you can see who is on the website and what they are looking at. Not sure if that is cool or kind of creepy.

I would suggest not working with GW and using a FLGS for future purchases. The one time my order was messed up it was fixed in a day and I got another reason to go hang out with nerds. 🙂

I attempted to leave politics out of this as this is just warpspace. I expect plenty to be said in ROC...

Sad announcement today. ☹️ Fought off cancer 4 times, couldn't pull off the penta.

My only response is that space shuttles create two sonic booms when re-entering the atmosphere, so I would assume a large Mech would also cause multiple sonic booms.

Or have the voices just started again in my head?
I haven't noticed a difference. It has been like this forever.

Looks like I will need to go get a white paint.

So I said I would try and keep people up to date on the making of Slammy G. A big thanks to @WestRider for the hammers and @Shikome for the wings. I have the pieces, now to start the painting and assembly. I started painting big Slammy G on the sprue because I thought it might help get me to some of the harder to reach spots. I am also trying to figure out Apothecary White (contrast) on the shield. I don't like how it looks, but not sure how to get it more white. I have a mixing ball in the paint and have shaken it a good long time. More to figure out there. I just noticed I have forgotten the jump pack, so I will have to go cut one off a sanguinary guard sprue, AND pictures like I said I would...
PS... I mostly wrote this post to disprove the haters.... 😛 @VonVilkee

Tyranids have been my main since 4th Ed. Got into GSC when they came out, and now finally, I am starting a blood angels army for 9th.

If you pick a number, say 1000, to get to 2000 you have to double in magnitude. So you spend a lot of time in with the 1's as a leading digit. But if you choose 9000 and want to get to 10000 that is only a 11% increase to get out of the 9s as a leading digit to get back to the 1s.
Here are people smarter then me that talk about it. I have been watching numberphile on youtube for a while because I find it fascinating.

I have not cooked a pig whole, but I have attended a wedding where they did and it was probably the best pork I have ever eaten in my life. Since I have been lazy and not replaced our grill we have been using the cast iron / carbon steel pans to cook our steaks. Youtube is a good teacher on cooking steaks in the oven.

Serves you right for using that heretical gas to power your grill. Should have been using wood charcoal, like the most holy God-Emperor intended. And none of that match light stuff, that's the path to madness!
Yeah I understand. The convenience was too hard to pass up. It was nice to be able to turn it on a grill a steak, rather then fight with charcoal.

I'm a Zune apologist. Technologically superior to an iPod in every single way.
First video capability, first Bluetooth sharing, first customizable backgrounds.
I still use the gen 1 Zune I got for my birthday 14 years ago. I've taken it around the world multiple times, totalled a car with it inside, and leave it in my car all year round, no matter how hot or cold. It still has about a 9-12 hour battery life. I forget to turn it off when I get home from work, and when I start my car the next morning, it's still playing.
It lost hard because it's user software never seriously intruded on ipod's market share. And it launched during the height of Justin Long's "iPod is cool, Microsoft is old and lame" campaign. And Justin Long is cool. And Microsoft isn't, so fair play to them.
So I guess I'm the technology that nobody took seriously in the first place, is incompatible with most current interfaces, but drones on for 12 hours regardless.
I just found my old Zune, and was thinking of trying to figure out how to get music on it.

The wife got a bread maker, so she has been trying all sorts of different breads. Delicious, but bad for the belt line. I think we have perfected our guacamole through the use of feeding neighbors. Our last kicker for perfection was the Los Calientes Rojo hot sauce we add a bit of. It has a taco sort of flavor while bringing a spot of heat.
Our grill died a glorious death by melting the knobs on the front, so we haven't grilled all summer.

I don't have those, but I do have some of the slightly smaller wings from the Stormcast Prosecutors. I didn't get the Hammer shipped because the automated postal kiosk is out of order right now, so I could add those in.
Thanks, but it looks like Shikome has exactly what I am looking for.

As you can tell, I am scatter brained and can't finish a project. I just work on what ever sounds fun at the time. I figure since I can't play right now, I have time to go which ever direction I want.

I have 5 intersessions, 10 assault intersessions, 5 death company with jump packs and the sergeant with plasma gun and shield done. On the painting table I have 5 more intersessions with just red on them. 5 more DC with jump packs that have the black on them, 1 outrider with base colors, 1 captain with base colors, and 10 more assault intersessions with base paint on sprue waiting to be assembled.

The imperial armor books seems like it will help the Tyranids a good deal. Having the 'dules moved to HS instead of the Titan tax will be nice. The Dimachaeron has some useful rules that are more in line with 9th.
I should never have strayed from my Tyrnaids by starting a Blood Angels army for 9th. But it is what it is.
