At what point do we rename this to Raindog's image thread? 😛

For those of you who have games with FFG card sleeves and want identical card sleeves so you don't have to have mismatched cards in your games.

My kids have been to a couple of reptile shows with their uncle @Romans832. Which is why they like the Poison dart frogs.

I have aquariums! They don't have fish in them, though. Or water. Or... really anything to do with this thread, because reptiles live in them. But I wanted to feel included, so I'm piping up to derail the thread.
...
AWAY! *whoosh*
What reptiles? Skink, chameleon, bearded dragon, snakes?
@Romans832 will probably have lots to chime in about reptiles.

We like the look of salt water, but I doubt we will go down that road right away. The kids are torn on what they want, fish or frogs, so we continue going in circles. We have a nice large space for the aquarium that has viewing from all 4 sides. So we have been planning how to hide the equipment.
@InfestedKerrigan I love the idea of having fish at the bottom of the tank for the frogs. I will look into that.

We have been talking about getting fish. But I think we may be getting pulled over to poison dart frogs in an aquarium.
EDIT: Are any of those salt water? We have talked about a 50gallon, how hard are those take care of?

I have already printed quite a few.
How many you need?
3 sets of arms would be amazing. PM me a cost and we can chat.

Anyone have a lead on someone printing inceptor plasma arms?
-
It is just bonkers. Zoanthropes went up in points because everyone knows they are at the top of the meta charts. But you know, plasmaceptors with their insane guns only went up 5 points a model, yet still shoot 6 shots per model at any squad over 6 models. A chaplain for +1 to hit and a lieutenant for rerolls 1s to wound... Nothing broken about this combo

Some of the points adjustments are just crazy.

Does anyone know someone who is 3d printing plasma exterminator arms for inceptors? I have the stock ones from the last box set so I don't want to have to go buy new models.

Last school year our kids' school had a skate night at the local roller skating rink. That was the first time I skated since my teens... so 20+ years ago. It was fun to remember the "good old days" and watch my kids learn for the first time.

Where does it say they can't take those units?

Are kill teams considered troops?
-
A friend is starting into 40k and he decided on Deathwatch as his first army. He was at the game store without me... Just starting into the marine world myself I am looking for any advice people might have to help with building a Deathwatch list that is semi competitive and how list building works. Can he include a devastator squad in his list? Devastators aren't listed on the kill teams and I only glanced through his codex supplement, but I assume so. I told him I assumed all marines could be included in his list, but if he wanted to make kill teams then that was Deathwatch's cool tactic. Also, are kill teams troops, elites, etc? I do not know how to classify them in list building. I guess I could have consulted battlescribe, but haven't yet. Any help would be appreciated.

Has anyone used Black 3.0? I really want to try it for my death company intercessors. It sounds like it should work just like normal acrylic paint, but I just want to double check.

I have not had issues waiting for drying, though I also tend to paint several minis at once so by the time I finish the last one, the first one is dry. When doing a single mini, I also usually have something else cooking, like a conversion I'm working on. So I trade greenstuff drying time with Contrast drying time... Ha, typing this out made me realize that's what I've been doing to kill the time. Subconscious efficiency! 😆
Yeah, I try and paint multiple models too, but maybe I am using too much paint and need to scale back.

I added a drying booth to my hobby area. It was focused on contrast but has been helpful for all kinds of hobby things. Greenstuff sculpting, basing and glueing in general
What is a drying booth?

... That might actually be feasible because Contrast makes it so fast. My next episode features a model done in less than an hour! Anyway, thanks for the feedback and for reading!
Less then an hour?!?!? Maybe I am doing contrast wrong. I find if I don't put a good amount of paint on the model I don't get the contrast feel of the paint. Then I have to wait a good while before I can do the next color.

Getting some cultists in the list isn't a horrible idea. 3 groups of 10 and the tide of traitors stratagem would allow you to hold objectives and help keep the cultists alive.

I have not found a single player that can make GS cult work in 9th ed. So they are totally regulated to the shelf for a while.
My boys are starting to learn 40k so blood angels isn't a bad thing for them to start on. I will always have the Bugs and I will play them too, I just wanted to see what the world was like with power armor and being outnumbered.

Paintbrush soap

What paintbrush soap do people use? I have heard a mix of specialty paintbrush soap to just warm water and dish soap. So now I ask you, how do you care for your paintbrushes?
