  1. This army still available and am now asking $300, although conditions regarding pickup still apply. I will also consider partial trades for a realm of battle board or a table war case.
  2. Hi Folks, I’m looking to sell my part-painted Ogre Army for $350. My only request is that you pick the pieces up in person (S.E. Portland) or have a friend do so on your behalf. I am also interested in starting a Lizardmen Army, so I may consider a whole or partial trade for a painted or partially painted army. Not to worry, I plan on sticking with this hobby but prefer to focus on my other armies. Let me know if you have any questions. I’ll be happy to answer them. My Ogre Kingdoms Army Breakdown: Tyrant - nicely painted, using fine cast Golgfag model Slaughter Master - nicely painted Battle Standard Bearer - nicely painted, conversion using the Bragg model (Flag has not been reattached, but is included) Firebelly - nicely painted, Finecast Model Gorger - nicely painted Ironguts (6 pieces) - primered black Bulls (6 pieces) – skin-base coated Bulls (6 pieces) – skin-base coated Leadbealchers (4 pieces) – skin-base coated Maneaters (4 pieces)- skin-base coated, one painted completely, all converted to have pistols Sabretusks (2 pieces) – fur-base coated, using Fenrisian wolf models Stonehorn - nicely painted, not attached to base for ease of shipping Ironblaster - nicely painted apart from rider, who is primered black Mournfang (4 pieces) - nicely painted Giant - painted Extras: OK Army book and magic cards, Bragg and Golgfag models (skin-base coated), parts to build three additional Mournfangs, plus miscellaneous pieces
  3. Stopped by and picked up some dreadspears, DE assassin, and the corsair hero. Really a sad experience and I'd liken it to taking your pet to the vet for the last time.
  4. Anyone happen to know if their WFB shelves are empty, or is it still worth dropping by?
  5. If lizardmen are a solid list, I may go in that direction. My only concern is it being developed outside of sanctioned rules and subject to being broken or limited in options. Still undecided, but likely skaven or lizardmen.
  6. I think I'll try my hand at skaven, always wanted to use a ratogre named "tiny". Love the look/fluff of skaven, but the number of models for WFB scares me and this seems like the perfect opportunity.
  7. I'd be really interested in joining as well, although I only recently downloaded the rules and would need to throw together a warband.
  8. dreams made manifest. Behold, the Relic Knights kickstarter has arrived. Shoot me some offers via pm if interested.
  9. It took them so long that I no longer have any interest, that may change but my wandering mind has taken me in other directions.
  10. I have a tracking number which is of some comfort. Its been so long that I had even forgotten about purchasing it.
  11. Hey folks, just exploring people's interest. I purchased the kickstarter for cersi speed circuit (currently in transit) and wanted to find out if anyone is interested in buying this. Not sure of the contents yet, its the savior of the universe package, which includes the rulebook, all the goodies, some special edition miniatures, and 2 x cersi faction starters. I'll know more in a few days and can post pics, but if you're interested contact me. If anyone also happens to know of a reasonable price for these models, that would be much appreciated. I'm looking to sell the entire lot in one go to fund other projects.
  12. In the midst of my ofcc painting project, I just realized that I'm nearly out of my much beloved paints and gw doesn't make a suitable replacement. Ideally, I'm looking for another 2-3 pots of tallarn, and 1-2 pots of calthan. I'll take what I can get. For two pots of tallarn, you can have an OK army book in good condition, or we can negotiate a price. Thanks
  13. Even more impressed when I saw the rankings going into the World Cup, netherlands was 15 and Spain was number 1. Might have to reconsider my favorites (germany, argentina), I always favor the underdog.
  14. Thanks for the kind words. Struggling with the ironguts at the moment, it seems that my greenstuffing of the shoulder joints on this and the bulls was half-ass, and it shows. The OCD side of myself wants to scrap them and start over (I have extras), the more pragmatic side says to push on through and to hell with it...I have a deadline.
  15. Hopefully you caught Van Persie (# 9) score that amazing header. It was at that point that I considered repainting my house orange as a show of solidarity.
  16. My alter-ego sports fan only comes out during world cup. England was disappointing, Netherlands was stellar.
  17. Completed the giant last night, I'll be working on the ironguts this weekend Decided to use blue as the accent/banner color for my army, needed something to tie these brutes together. Going with the mountaineaters tribe, although I don't know much about the fluff and will be doing my own thing. Don't know if I have the time or skill to do freehand work, so my banners might be bland
  18. Going back and forth between painting projects, but currently working on: 6 ironguts giant mournfang If all goes according to plan, these will be ready to go by the end of next week and I'll post some pictures. I painted the giant up along time ago for a different army (back when I had a steady hand and more free time), so just doing some highlights and rebasing. I'm coming to terms with the fact that my painting is sub-par these days and am getting more comfortable with the idea of churning these suckers out at a mediocre level. Hopefully I'll have the stonehorn and ironblaster completed by the end of June
  19. In the couple of games I played (HE) against my opponents DE, it was pretty apparent that DE had the advantage. All the features that made HE something special, plus murderous prowess, plus eternal hatred against HE. Still entirely possible to outplay your opponent on your own merits and HE have some great options.
  20. As the title says, these items are free if anyone is interested. Only stipulations are that you take the chairs with the table, have the means to pick it up, and are able to do so on a weekday (preferred) between 5:30-8pm or weekend. Pictures are below, pm me if interested.
  21. Got a request just prior to your post, so it looks like these are going to a new home.
  22. Question answered. Just wanted to make a distinction between the trays that slide into the case, and the smaller trays that fit into those trays (I think Ive talked myself into a corner)
  23. So the trays included in basic set-up would fit the steel sheets and I wouldn't have to purchase additional ones? It wasn't clear from their photos, but do they sell trays that have steel or magnetic sheet running the length of them?
  24. evil-bryan: I sent an e-mail about five days ago Thanks for the feedback folks, it looks like I'll be tightening the belt and investing in a tablewar case. Just need to figure out if the trays that accompany the case hold a single sheet of metal or if those trays would need to be purchased separately. Also, as I'm looking to have ranked up models on movement trays, would it be wiser to have magnetic sheets or steel sheets and have the movement trays with the opposite polarity.
