How long would a learning game take? Thinking if D&D happens, and we can be done before 6pm, i could partake!

The club is getting a set of dice and templates that should be around to use too. I'm building some cars now, and just got my book. Excited to get a learning game in too!

I should be there for D&D, but if they push to another week, might be interested in a learning game of gaslands.

I keep considering pledging Bones again. I own bones 1, and this new bones black is much better quality, plus tons more minis for D&D. I just REALLY don't need 400 minis!

Makes me want to get started on mine. I need to drill out and paint/prep my first two. Waiting on the book and toys to arrive.

So which vendor have you found a good deal on dice and possibly templates? I noticed they're not all equal. Just looking for something better than paper. But the dice seem like a must have.

Also a lot of the vendors have free shipping with $X, anyone looking for dice, or templates? Found a vendor for $12 template sets in acrylic, and $5 MDF sets. Let me know ASAP if you want me to add a set for you, you'd have to meet me at the club on a Tues to pick up, or I could leave in the locker.

Second, from the street its really hard to see where the sale is exactly happening. Its fine for the people stopping by for game night, but there needs to be something outside more obvious for people that haven't been to the club stopping by for the sale.  My wife knows were the place is and still needed to be reminded that its around the corner and upstairs.

First, recommend they join the Ordo Boards or the Facebook page? Those were some of the mainstream posts. Not sure what else was used.

Second, is a great point. Maybe one of those signs that stands on the sidewalk pointing out Ordo, or something hung on the sign. I could see folks not used to the club, finding it hard to locate.

@Blustorm, we'd need to prep a waiver stating parent consent? Do we have anything at the club? Just write it on a sign in sheet?

I got sidelined by responsibility. So my feedback would be for me to be less responsible, and go to the garage sale! Bummed I missed it. 😞

I was thinking wood too, but hadn't considered cutting plywood to give the 'arch' approach. Maybe 3/4" to give it thickness.

Resin is always superior in detail. However older style PLA is 'cheaper' per model. Resin gets expensive with models costing what, like $1-$3 for a mini. PLA is like $.15 for that same mini (but with worse detail). Terrain I would also never print in resin. Depends on what you want to do with it.

I'd say it's fair for the photon, as the photon S is their current model. $279 for a resin printer is good. That said, they had some clearances and refurbs at one point as low as $150, and i've seen them on sale as low as $240 new. Also, black Friday is a month away...usually good deals!

Bear in mind, resin is toxic and be sure to use gloves and keep the vapor door closed.

I didn't bring anything with me this week. Got room for a bum to see this game in action? Do I need anything, mats wise?

I'd also be open for a gaslands demo (didn't bring cars), or even watching someone play.

There's also a chance I might not make it this week, hoping that's not the case. If i'm not there by 5pm, you'll know.

I just want to play, not sure where to start. Other than making some cars.

Also I saw some NICE plastic movement templates, dice, etc. I know they're not required, but I am thinking it's an investment in the game and quality of play. Just not sure which ones are needed. Dice and movement templates, is there others? Markers for stress, etc.

Isn't the book free to download too or do I need to get a hardback? I need to get the new book, forgot it had the update. Is refueled replacing original book, or is it an add-on?
