  1. You should run them out to Retro Game Trader in Beaverton, they'd give you credit and you could pick up things there (including non video game stuff like MTG, etc!)
  2. Shadow of the Tomb Raider has started off strong, still playing. Love the rebooted tomb raider games so far 3 in total.
  3. Woot! I'll be making a game night again! Looks like D&D is on the table this week.

  5. Hey, don't forget those painting DAY of on Friday! 😎 Hopefully people realize the speed painting tournament isn't meant to paint your full weekend force, 🤣
  6. Everyone is actually painting frantically for OFCC 😜
  7. BY POPULAR DEMAND T-shirt orders are extended through July 31st! Pre-order them while they're available!
  8. Fun, I get the feeling of a casino. Two questions, * CAN'T reroll marker with CP's? * TURN means player turn or battle round? Wasn't sure if the 3 point captured on the next battle round that player holds it for, or at the end of their 2nd turn, or at the end of the opponent turn.
  9. Just a reminder this is the last call for t-shirts for the OFCC this year! Will not be having these available at the event. Get those orders in before end of day Wednesday July 31st.
  10. Last call on tshirts!!! Must be locked in by end of day Wednesday July 31st! Order while you can! Again, not going to have these at the event.
  11. Anyone happen to have any immortal or deathmark spine bits? The Immortals I got 2nd hand appear to have NOT put those on, and severely impacts their look. (Can't figure out why they wouldn't use the spine bit)... Also open to ideas for alternative bits/pieces that can be used to make a spine like backing. Figured I'd ask before trying to greenstuff some junky look on them. 😫

  13. I don't know if I'll make it this week. Will play it by ear.
  14. ^^^ THIS! 😎 Sportsmanship points are earned really by how much of a FUN time your opponent had, plus we all covet the prized favorite opponent pin (at least I do). Chatting and having a good time can be just as effective as playing the game (just make sure it doesn't slow you at turn 2 because too much distraction). I also find myself letting off the 'gas' sometimes if a game starts sliding too far in my favor.
  15. Correct, if only 7 can see the target, then 3 cannot shoot that target. Nothing prevents those 3 from shooting a target THEY can see separately at the same time. I LOVE split fire!
  16. I disagree that you need to drop this riptide. It would be on par with enough lists (knights for example). The main thing from before was 54 T7 wounds, by dropping the 1 stormsurge it balances out. You end up being our higher tier list, but that's the make of our team. We have your list, my list, nid list, and chaos list in that order of power. As pax said, it's really about about fun games. Against the right list, you'd do fine. It really comes down to units being too durable, or too killy for their point values. Tau can abuse shield drones to keep lords of war alive well past their 20 wounds, or riptides, etc. Not saying to drop those, but considering balance is what Pax was shooting at. We'll be getting some practice games in and it'll help you see the effectiveness of it.
  17. Not really, 8th edition simplified it. Nothing, if you can see it you can shoot it. some people are still confused by 7th. Only help is area terrain (any piece as long as 100% in the terrain), it offers bonus +1 to your saving throw. There's special terrain piece rules too, but most of those are ignored. The only one that seems to be open for debate is vehicle obscured, but there no page number showing a rule for that in the BRB that I can see. Page 248 goes into more details. But the obscured rule appears to be infantry only.
  18. I'll take a look at their gloss coat. Do you know local shops that carry it?
  19. Dullcote destroys metal (turns it gray), and my Necrons need the shine, this is why the semi gloss looks perfect.
