I am looking for a good semi gloss sealer (glossy if required). I ran out of my stash from Bridgetown hobbies (Mr Super Clear Semi-gloss) and can't find any from hobby stores and have to order from vendors I don't recognize online. So, my 4th player is also new to OFCC . He made a Tyranids list. What I noticed early on is 2 battlalions for 13cp, but also over 100 models (so might hurt to get games finished). Orikan empowers into s7 t7 if he rolls lower than the turn, it's gimmicky and fun and the warlord trait i took is not the best, as he's forced to take it. Not sure about the PL difference never looked. That said crons did get points reduced in Chapter approved (because a lot of overpriced units). Doom scythes went from 250 to 205 to 150, just not that killy (d3 shots being unreliable). But PL is still showing 11 each, but it's really not. Looks like they changed point values but not PL's. Also main reason for this list, transports really easily in one case. 😁

I talked to him, he figured he could drop 1 stormsurge for battle suits he got from the starter sets. Meaning list has 1 riptide and 1 surge. Thoughts?

Didn't see Riptide in there. It's all he owns, but even against a knight list, or someone with anti tank? You're right, this list would be opponent specific. This would also be our top list, not meant to be harsh, but he'd be going against harder lists in matchups. The rest of the team is 2 mediocre lists and a soft list. I played against a 3 knight and 4 knight list last year, this seems like they'd be on par?
