  1. Two you should consider, even though rated M.

Diablo 3 might be rated M, but the gameplay is so high up you really don't see gore and such. I do believe there is one level with a succubus, but never saw any detail. Played through the non expansion one with kids and it seemed fine.

Halo 1-4 is one of those games that should have been rated T for Teen. Great FPS without all the Call of Duty language, content, etc. They just released that full collection on Xbox One, would have to single play each one for Xbox 360, and Halo 2 is still OLD Xbox format, but runs on Xbox 360.

  2. I don't have any games to trade, but wanted to provide a list of games my kids and I love to play co-op.

    Depending on your son's Age?

    Overall:

    - Borderlands 2 (or the newer 'the pre-sequel'). Excellent co-op games!

    - Diablo 3 (the new Reaper of souls one) is great!

    - Destiny has proven to be ok and tame content wise, but requires separate Xboxes and Xbox Live accounts to play...no split screen.

    - Call of Duty was fun with the survival modes (not sure which one you'd want though)

Younger approved but excellent for all ages!:

    - Minecraft

    - Dungeon defenders

    - Halo 3 or Halo 4

    - Guitar Hero

    - Castle Crashers

    - Battleblock Theater

    - Portal 2

    - Rayman Legends

    - Trials Evolution (or the newer one)

    - Lara Croft Guardians of Light

    - Marvel Ultimate Alliance

    - Warhammer 40k Kill Team

There are others we have too, but we felt these were the heavy hitters we have played MANY hours on.

  3. Thanks! Yeah, I chose Destiny purely because I had hope there would be more content, and I liked the idea of a game that continued to expand rather than just 'end' like the typical game. That said, I feel like my style is definitely more BL in nature.

I'll likely wait until the first price drop and grind through a couple of games I haven't finished yet.

  4. Realistically, I'd like to see flayed ones and destroyers become useful again (as well as some of the other new stuff that is never fielded).

ANTI ARMOR! No reliable AP weapon is very sad. I swear everyone else has it, but we just spam high volume S7 AP-....with the newest rule book not wrecking except on a 7, that sux!

  5. I've talked about it in the past. Both Bryan and I do web conferencing for a living, not like we don't have the resources...just more on the effort (and stable internet I suppose)....

FYI, I'll be stepping down as an active senator as I have not been able to steadily attend Senate meetings a I should. I will however maintain a senator's lackey role and still help with projects, tasks, and such (like prize support from the corporate vendors, etc).

With scouts, kids sports, and the like...responsibility sucks...

  6. If this had been an actual emergency it would have been followed by running around like crazy kids and screaming at the top of our lungs....this completes the test...

  7. Bummer, I was hoping to use my existing Coax. Too bad I can't get FIOS through my phone systems at my house. I guess I'll look at rabbit ear style setup (I hear it's hard to find non gimmick ones that actually work). I really don't want to run separate coax all over my house, poking holes around....

  8. Ok, so I have to figure out how to get my antenna Coax down to the cable box splitter (which makes sense).

Will it interfere with the Cable internet and phone service I have from Comcast still? Any special equip to separate those signals? Read something about a diplexer?

So I assume an amplifier would be required since I'm running cable from the antenna to the cable splitter outside, then all that coax runs back into the house?

Starting to think I can't do it as it sounds like Comcast's signal may interfere with the internet signal.

  9. Dude, that helps a lot actually. I do have a power outlet in our walk in closet already. I could probably just run an extension cord up there to hook up the AMP...now I just need to figure out how to wire the antenna to the existing Coax series. I'm guessing a splitter of some kind and as long as it's on the same outlets as the 3 we're good. Maybe I need to go to the source at the cable box? Or if I split it into the Jack in my bedroom that would filter out to all the other rooms on the coax, right?

Any tips on where to get my Coax to run it, noticed Bi-mart seemed to be pretty affordable.

Also, that link looks like non amplified? Did you buy one separately?

  10. So I recently cut the cable and rely on Hulu and Netflix for my TV needs now. That said, I'm interested in running an Antenna from the attic and wiring it to my Cable Coax so my TV's can actually get local channels.

I've noticed the per TV antennas are pretty weak, gimmicky, etc. So I was thinking a nicer quality one in the attic could run the 3 outlets.

I'm trying to determine if I need an amplified one or not. I'm out by Barlow high school in Gresham, and think I may need an amplified one.

I've searched youtube and seen some various videos. But the amplifier one looks like I need to run power to the attic and really don't want to do that if I can avoid it.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and how they resolved it?

  11. The parking next to the park is the Cinema/Theater parking lot. Same thing, overnight or later than they're opened and it could get towed. But how do they enforce, not sure...never had issues in either, but I also don't do it often.

  12. Dunno, I would imagine they are actual tickets. Else I imagine they would TOW, because they couldn't enforce it. Not sure though...

Overnight parking will get towed from there though...cinemas too. I read something about closing around 9pm, so late night gaming could get you towed...

  13. Be aware of the Mall parking. As stated, tickets suck. You could walk into the mall, and come out another entrance...of course drop your stuff off first, helps if you have a buddy that can offload your stuff while you go park...but yes, the Mall is not 'official' parking, heh.
