I totally agree. Bryan brought it to game night. And after turn one I totally had a grasp on the game. Very good entry level game for a gamer. Might not be on par as ticket to ride and catan for entry level, but definitely only one step up...

Board games sound fun! Likely there about 4:30pm.

I picked up Ticket to Ride for Android today. It appears to be on sale. Instead of the normal $6.99, it's only $1.99...got it for my wife and I. Supports online play, not sure how to do 'friend' matches though yet.

I'm not sure if you're forced to use what they design, or if the player base can create games. I would imagine they could....interesting possibilities.

Apparently steam is about to release some sandbox board game program. They show some pretty basic games. But list things like RPG minis, etc. I wonder how far people can take this and how publically distributable it would be. Imagine playing Alien frontiers and other games if someone took the time to build it. 

No idea if multiplayer is supported, or whatever. But interesting idea!

I think I might be wrong about Ticket to Ride, it says it has online Multiplayer. But does it have 'friends' only type multiplayer or just random??? Also says tablets, not sure about 4" Nexus 4...

I don't find most of the 'good cards' people want to trade. Some you can trade I suppose, but those I tend to have multiples of anyway. For example the Y-wing astromech, A-wing push the limit, Lamda advanced sensors, etc. People tend to hang onto those.

I was part of the beta for the Catan multiplayer on Android. According to their own site, the Catan Multiplayer will be cross platform functional. You only have online play though, no local play like Carcassone. The online play does allow you to set friends though and play private games amongst them (just requires internet to do so). And yes, I'm supposed to be able to challenge IOS users and Android users alike through their servers.

I haven't tested the cross platform bit yet. Still waiting for my Wife's to get the latest patch...annoying

I bought Catan, it has Online play now but you can set private games with friends. Should work well. Wife's isn't loading the newest version yet, supposedly they are upgrading groups of licenses at once...apparently she has to wait to get into the latest patch group.... oh well, patience is a good thing I suppose.

That's the problem with Android. Android ports don't have all the same multiplayers each time. TTR doesn't for sure, Catan is getting multiplayer soon, but not sure if it's local or what.

I wouldn't mind online play either if I can select a specific friend to play with.

I'll play you some blood bowl. I'll bring x-wing too just in case.

Looking for some good Android games that have local multiplayer. Seems like Carcassonne has it but are their any other games that have local multiplayer? Doesn't seem like ticket to ride or catan have it.

The goal is to play games with my wife on her phone. Just looking for something new.

One primed and assembled. Other is just an assembled 'hull' bare plastic with all bits/customization on sprue still like new.

4 Razorback/Rhinos

All 4 vehicles have assembled hulls and easily completed to your spec (top hatches are not glued on). All sprue/bits are in box still. Can be created with either weapon option, and Rhino or Razorback. Like getting 4 new, bare plastic.

Companies must always continue to grow. They've already milked models for what they can, and the market is saturated. Rules are the only thing left to saturate? I mean, changing the codex to make previously mass purchased stuff useless is their norm. Thus forcing you to purchase the other models, etc. My biggest issue is 'complexity' my brain hurts to keep track of 40k games now.

This is why I'm already thinning my 40k, selling all my Space Marine stuff, or trading :)

I agree, just saying I'd like to see more durable beefy ships than always relying on horde or finesse imperials. Here's to wishing....
