    Also, Tuesday night Ordo game nights (look at the game night thread, and what is WoW for location) there's lots of people who game and likely to show you a learning game. First night's free, then you can pay $5 or become a champion which lowers it to $2.

     

    But yeah, just a matter of coordinating someone to play. The boards work well for that :biggrin:

    Just a heads up, but there's a nice quality gaming mouse on sale today only at Best Buy on their deal of the day. $15 for a 3500dpi mouse that has 6 buttons, and color changing effects. I love my gaming mouse from Razer, just thought I'd give any PC gamers a heads up. Higher sensitivity of a gaming mouse does help  :cool:

  7. Looking for playtesters...miniature rules

    FYI, there were a couple of SIMPLE game systems I looked at so I could play with my kids and nephews. Basically I wanted simple mechanics, which I imagine that description would transfer over to beer and pretzel.

     

    Dungeon Squad was one, it had tons of fan support too for non fantasy themed campaigns and such too.

     

    The other was Song of Blades and Heroes.

     

    Just as a source for plagiarizing ideas :)

    I'll be there about 4pm. I didn't bring X-wing, but if someone had some ships to loan out, I'd get a game in if a filler is needed.

     

    Also, Bring your $1's. Bringing some of the Chocolate for my son's Boy Scouts $2 for chocolate and $1 for pepperoni sticks... :cool:

  24. Necron Monolith bits... any ideas?

    I have a spare Monolith new in box with all the pieces. That said, I'm fairly certain I have a HALF of the top crystal too, and have a whole one I painted back when, so I don't think I need the half crystal (I'll have to check when I get home).

     

    As to the portal and rods I have a couple of suggestions. I would just paint something plasticard in there? I don't think the back window makes a bit difference. The Rod's can be purchased from places like Plastruct and such. I'm pretty sure they have an equivalent green rod option. I forget the exact measurement, but it was pretty cheap to get a whole set. I bought all red and changed all my rods out.

    On the KFF, OH REALLY? I have been told it's actual models underneath it now. If that is only affecting Kans that's vital, but I was told it was all models now. I haven't found it myself, it's the first time I've opened up the Orks I acquired.

     

    For now, I'm gonna run a Warboss with a PK and boss pole, 30 choppa boyz (Nob with big choppa), 30 choppa boyz (Nob with big choppa and BP),  and 8 lootas. Not sure if Klaw is worth it as he can just be challenged and killed on Nobs...

     

    I'll mess with it, thanks for the great tips so far. I'll take more if there are any. :biggrin:
