  1. The first thing you need is a tray with a lip to contain spills. An old baking sheet, a Ikea boot tray, a fancy silicone mat, it's doesn't matter. There will be spills, drips etc and you don't want the contents of a vat fail to run everywhere.
  2. A shelf solution for A Song of Ice and Fire unit trays. Note the dovetailing that locks the beveled edge of tray. Pretty clever ***client provided files

  4. Greetings all! Mindtaker Miniatures will be hosting terrain clinics in upcoming hobby nights! Huzzah! Topics will range from sourcing materials, construction methods, painting, advanced techniques, and so forth. I'll be bringing over 30 years of hobby experience to share. Keep an eye out for upcoming clinics and dates. Are there any topics you'd like to see?

  7. ***OPINION WARNING*** Your leader is critical to your gang functioning. I say protect them as much as you can afford. I would also avoid tooling them up with too much, avoid having them be your combat workhorse. Use them as anchors for fire teams or launch points for combat squads. Juves are a mixed bag. In a long campaign where they can actually accumulate XP they work out great. But in a standard 7 week Dominion Campaign they never see their potential. I generally give mine a pistol or sumsuch, and use them as objective grabbers and distractions. It's really optimistic to assume they'll actually do anything that requires a die roll.
  8. Rogue Trader: with Ere we go & Freebootas ork books. best ork rules ever, as long as you liked endless random tables
  9. Rogue Trader. Turning radius ratio for vehicles. no wait, that sucked.

  18. Just to put this out there, the only reason I'm doing this myself is I have $0 budget. Otherwise I'd have hired someone already. So... I know I want a flat logo, it needs to have a strong silhouette that is recognizable in one color. I know I want to convey the concept of printing, or creating. I know I want to convey a games concept. I know I want bold sans-serif typeface. I don't want photoshop effects (drop shadow, bevels, glow, etc) I'm only doing business cards and web presence. The nozzle and cube theme (with variants) are what I found during research, With the cube bringing some organic negative space. The crossed swords are what I landed on to tie in some kind wargame element. I had toyed with the nozzle as a classic gantry style crane, printing a grill helm, but dismissed that as too busy. I'm really not trying to change the world on this, so reinventing the swoosh isn't on my radar.
