    I have some specific requirements printing objective marker numbers in various fonts. Is that doable? I'm mostly interested in printing masters I can then alter by hand, build around and cast. And tires, with meaty tread patterns but blank rims that I can alter and cast...

    In a rare moment of actual coolness, Agrellan Earth is a GW technical paint that cracks like that as it drys. You can get crackle medium at art supply stores and mix with whatever paint you like for different colors. I just use theirs as it was a small investment to try it out.
