  1. But I applaud whatever you just did there however it might end up being a little too busy. And as much as I love the Brad eyes we seriously can't use those. Do I dare mention the back of the shirt. Are we going to have anything there?
  2. Yeah Kevvy poo. How long is this going to take. In the famous words of my mafia friends, "I may or may not be able to play dis' game of Trones".
  3. Man two big D's at once. Maybe but not three. I only have so many hands to properly take care of those D's.
  4. Brad. Oh my god. That picture is killer.
  5. Love the eyes Nathan. Soo much better. At least in my eyes. Rimshot please.
  6. Yeah no prob. Tell me what I need to bring.
  7. "How many D's is too much? Let's ask wise old Mr. Owl" "Well let me see. One. Two. Three. *Chomp*. Three D's is Too Much" *please don't sue me tootsie pop company. I found the star are the wrapper. That's got to stand for something. But Loren, yes it would seem 3 D's is too many, As we just saw. However no D's is too few. So in the Infamous words of Rich Boy, when it comes to making an OFCC list; "Throw some D's on that #$@!%"
  8. Sherbert was that directed towards me?
  9. Can any somebody teach me how to play a new game? Keep in mind I have no models or pieces in regards to whatever the game is. However I want to expand my horizons a little bit more.
  10. To all of those who attended this event, I just want to take a second and thank everyone again. We had a few newbies, a few hardcore gamers and even a few Canadians. All in all though it turned out quite nicely. Remember the overall goal of this event was to allow people to experiment and strengthen not only club but gaming relationships. Goal met. Thank you Nick for showing us all how incredibly insane the necrons can get. In honesty there are no bad feelings about that. By bringing that list we are now able to understand that necrons in general are resilent but in four formations are nigh unkillable. Thanks again for coming down Canadians. As much as I can't say I love your health care system, you guys are fun as hell to game with. To the Hamsters that showed up, I hope you had a blast. Thanks.
  11. Don great to see that you exist. Unless of course you are a hired actor, in which case that was one helluva performance. Encore. But nonetheless it was awesome and hope you had fun. More importantly I hope this tourney was the oxygen tank to your pilot light. Or in your terms, the flashbang before the breach. Can't wait to see you out more.
  12. Maybe. Maayybe. *extremely sluggish and whiney*. Maybe.
  13. How is it that we have the quote win by a landslide and yet apparently everyone hates it? Jim I prefer old English over metal but either works perfectly. However can someone please, please, please fix those eyes? He looks like a hamster on a bad acid trip. Do I have an answer on how to fix it? Not really, but thanks for asking. What is he looking at? That's my hyper criticalism for the day. Either than that great work Jim.
  14. I'm leaning on the good side of not too early. However we seem to be stuck in some kind of stasis until Kevin can find out the x-wing time.
  15. Sorry what I mean't is Jims #2 Version.
  16. Of the first post on this page, I like the way the #2 one looks the best, aside from those weird ass eyes. Keep at it we are getting there guys. Love it.
  17. Jim do you possibly have any examples of what you are talking. The idea sounds cool but I am not getting exactly what you are suggesting.
  18. Not sure how the quote is fitting in.
  19. Wonderful Loren. It will be great to see you there.
  20. Ah Loren, I see your lack of enthusiasm. My guess is the elder codex is coming out, if this is what you mean? In that regard, I put this up for thought as I just got done playing Nathaniel and he will be partaking in the tourney regardless of codex. My point I used to convince him, is that setting aside all of the rumors that are going to be out there, we know (from majority of other codex releases) that the main part of the book will be intact. Yes they will probably change something that needed a reduction or boost in certain areas but it won't be the massive overhaul that players may be thinking. With that said, my next point here is equivalent to pricelessness (but I will give it to you for free, minus 17 easy payments of $19.99). The Eldar codex will be coming out. However I doubt that every other codex will also release before the OFCC. If you see where I am going with this...yes, it is invaluable practice to get to see some of the armies you will be facing as you and I both know extremely well, pairings are everything in this event. Man what no better asset than having your whole team playing at the same tourney so you can learn their weaknesses and strengths. Yes your teammates know their armies very well, however come the witching hour you're going to have to make that split decision of facing your teammates against the armies they really don't want to. In summation however, I make no point to trying to lecture you as you are most likely a far better captain than I. I also understand that every person has a personal life outside of playing toys, but I do protest that if you can make it and you are only concerned about a codex release then we could really use you in this event. Hopefully this was enough persuasion.
  21. Only other option I can think of is having the text on either side of the hamster, rather than the bottom. My only complaint with this logo is it feels like something is missing.
  22. No problem. Seeing you out and playing will be a lot like seeing a unicorn. Or a Leprechaun. Or my family inheritance. Ah just kidding. I'm not getting an inheritance.
  23. Shaun we have talked extensively about this and if you can make it work good on you. With that said here are my feelings on the matter; Tyrannofexes are extremely over-costed for what they do. They are the most durable MC for nids but don't pack enough of a heavy punch to kill the units that matter. Lets Average it out and say that the most common army you will face will be Marines of some sort. Their base troop being equipped with a 3+ Armour save. Wounding on two's is great but unless your opponent is completely inept, you can only fit about 6 marines(they should be spaced out). On a good day lets just say the whole squad. I will let you do the math here, but 10 Marines. Wounding on twos then making 3+ saves, doesn't kill enough. Not to mention they are just Marines. My guess is your going to want to target the heavier hitters. Centurions? Well the math only gets way worse. Trannies compared to Carnies. I will take those dirty, toothless alcoholics any day. Way better at offensive out put. T6 6W 2+ isn't really that hard to kill when you get down to it. If an army plays right and focuses fire than they can easily kill one a turn. I kind of like the idea of the infiltrating genestealers however that is also an over-costed unit that dies way too easily to sit on an objective for one turn. The question I pose is...How are you intending to deal with the bane of Nids existence? Vehicles? 1 S6 shot vs. 12 S6 twinlinked? In conclusion I only wish the Tyrannofexes were good. Man I tried. And genestealers. But no. It just wasn't meant to be.
  24. I really do brad, especially since I may be playing those orks. But this week I have a game setup with Nathaniel. Let's just say my schedule will remain open for the week of next. Maybe try Duncan?
