Nice, that's actually really handy! I had no idea what the "Rebel Guerrillas" were supposed to represent since I don't really follow Deadzone.
My read on them was “Genestealer Cults without Alien Gribblies” or “Traitor Guard without Demonic Gribblies.”

So… Turns out “there’s a wiki for that” is the new “let me Google that for you.” Looks like some folks have already made a list of suggested miniatures for each faction.

@Raindog and @dalmerare just trying to be nice in order not to scare the new guy. The truth is that’s horrible, terrible, no good, very bad terrain. You bring dishonor on your name, dishonor on your family, dishonor on your cow…
Don’t worry, though. I can help. Just box everything up, leave it out on your porch, I’ll come by late tonight – discreetly – and make sure no one else ever has to see your shame.

The WH40K/AoS to OPR equivalent oils very on the nose for factions, individual units can be a bit more opaque… But I suppose as long as you and your opponent(s) can tell Model X apart from Model Y, it isn’t hugely important.

Future Tunisia?
Umm, ackchyually, I think you’ll find that the Star Wars sagas are set “[a] long time ago” and in “a galaxy far, far away.”
He-heh-Huh. You probably also don’t know the difference between a Tattooine Jawa and an Arvalan Jawa!

It was high tech for the day!
If only they had managed to merge this technology with the “one standard muscle man body with interchangeable swishy soft rubber heads” that Mattel was using for their Masters of the Universe toy line. They’d have been unstoppable!

I'm totally up for DMing streamlined D&D, however I'm currently only available for a weeknight
I’m available just about any weeknight… Probably.

Well… Seems like no one has a table looking for a player. Insert old Thanos meme.
I’m willing to take on GM’ing duties for 4-6 players. Grognards, newbies, and anyone in between. I’m thinking we could meet every other Saturday at W.O.W. or Guardian Games.
I’d prefer to run…
• Beyond the Wall an old-school style fantasy rpg ,with an emphasis on collaborative world-building and “low fantasy” elements;
• Stars Without Number an old-school style science-fiction rpg, with an emphasis on sand box exploration. Thematically very similar to Traveller, but with easier to learn (and free!) rules;
• Star Wars D6 (REUP) a community made revised, edited, and updated version of WEG’s old Star Wars game;
• Mutants & Masterminds (3e) my favorite superhero game of all time. Pull on your tights and punch some villains;
• Dungeons & Dragons (5e)… Do I really need to explain what this is?

So, after the hectic plague lockdowns and years of working nights and weekends, I finally have a Monday-Friday 9 to 5(ish) job again. This means I finally have a chance to get back to the most important things in life spending time with family pretending to be a heroic adventurer!
Anyone in the Ordo have a tabletop group that is looking for another player (possibly two if I bring my teenager with me)?
No real limits on game or system. I’ve probably played (or at least read) all the big names and am eager to learn anything new.

I’m really happy with Oathmark for my fantasy battling, but I am also a huge fan of Gaslands and A Billion Suns… Downloading now.

I was always impressed with (but never got to play) Lion Rampant and Dragon Rampant which Daniel Mersey also wrote. Both a “rank-n-flank” medieval war games with Lion leaning towards history and Dragon leaning towards fantasy.
I’m currently poking around trying to find an alternative system for WH40k. The Grimdark Future
system from One Page Rules is pretty popular… But the old grognard in me feels like I should have a dead tree book to make it a “real” game.- 1

I’m really hoping we see Judeans in either Age of Alexander or Age of Caesar.
I’d love to spend Hanukkah nights with my daughters recreating the Maccabean revolt against the Seleucid Empire.

And yes, canonically, Tolkien’s dwarves had bearded men and women. This wasn’t just a joke made up for the Peter Jackson films.

So, a group of dogs is a "pack," a group of deer is a "herd," a group of crows is a "murder," a group of ravens is an "unkindness" or "parliment."
I propose that a group of zombies be known as a "romero."

Given that they only ever eat lunch, so why do they call themselves The Breakfast Club?

Hopefully, when they’re inevitably bought by Disney, they’ll have Games Workshop focus on games again.

After many long years, I’m finally back to a “nine to five” job (well, 8:30 to 5:00, but why quibble?) and I can probably make either Thursdays or Sundays.
Custodian Brothers aren’t any cheaper than Custodes. If anything, they might be even more expensive! Here’s a list I threw together quickly, basically just taking units I know were reliable as heck in WH40k and hoping they would work in OPR.
++ Custodian Brothers [1990pts] ++
Master Custodian [1] Q3+ D2+ | 150pts | Fearless, Hero, Tough(6)
Axe (A3, Blast(3)), Shot-Mount (12", A2, AP(1))
Custodian Brothers [6] Q3+ D2+ | 560pts | Fearless, Tough(3)
6x Shot-Mounts (12", A2, AP(1)), 6x Spear (A3, AP(4))
2x Custodian Brothers [3] Q3+ D2+ | 290pts | Fearless, Tough(3), Combat Shields(Shield Wall)
3x Swords (A3, AP(1), Rending), 3x Shot-Mounts (12", A2, AP(1))
Sagittarius Brothers [3] Q3+ D2+ | 325pts | Fearless, Relentless, Tough(3)
3x Daggers (A2), 3x Bolt Rifles (30", A2, AP(1)), 3x Disintegrator-Mods (18", A1, AP(4))
Custodian Assault Walker [1] Q3+ D2+ | 375pts | Fear, Fearless, Tough(12)
2x Destroyers (18", A3, Rending), Spear (A2, AP(4), Deadly(3)), Rapid Shot-Mount (12", A4, AP(1)), Stomp (A4, AP(1))
