Hey all,
I’m listening to the new belesarius cawl book. Seems chalk full of tidbits and teasers of what might be to come.
Dark imperium, plague war, rites of passage and spear of the emperor are also all post the great rift. Any body else keeping up? What are your favorite teases and spoilers?
I like Guillemans possible conversion to the cult of the emperor from the end of plague war. The mentor legion is also very cool, makes me want to put a single space marine hero in with a bunch of cadians.
Have you read the new Celestine book yet? I think it further hints that Celestine is a legitimate demon prince of the emperor in denial of her true nature.

Trying to find a easy place to get a game of 40k. Are you guys fine with teenagers?
Does anyone know the policy on minors? I am available for 40k but unsure of the club policy

I will be there for 40k/related games or some board games. I would be down to play spawl ops again.

As I said, I wanted to transcribe the Archetypes from the book onto proper character record sheets for new players and/or drop in players to use. While doing this, it also occured to me that it'd be nice to record the Priority Table allocations used by the various Archetypes... Both to illustrate how they worked for new players and to make it easier for a player who wanted to "tweak" an Archetype into an original character (say swapping the Face from an Orc to a Human) rather than starting from scratch.
Unfortunately, reverse-engineering them might not actually be possible. It seems they were built during the rulebook's design process at a point before other character generation rules got finalized, and they break the rules in a few (mostly minor) ways. For example, the Adept has 4.5 PP worth of powers and just about everybody has too many Skill ranks. So, I'm looking at two options here...
A) Ignore the ways they break the rules and just transcribe them straight-up.
B) Use the real rules and build versions of them that come as close to the Archetypes as possible.
Personally, I lean towards "B," but thought I should ask for feed-back.
Whichever you prefer since you are doing all the work

It’s been many years since I played Shadowrun, I would love to drop in and play. I’ll keep an eye out for posts or please message me if you happen to remember.
The next game will be on the 29th, a tuesday, if you have a favorite archtype let me know and I will bring the pregen.

This topic is an overview of the Shadowrun Campaign I am running:
The game will run every other tuesday, starting on the 29th.
Feel free to drop in I will have pregen characters every session for use.
The game will be set in real-time, so the dates in game match the real-world date.
The campaign will mostly focus, on organized crime, with the occasional interference by corporations. Advancement will be a bit faster than normal(more karma and more cash) to allow for faster character growth.
Feel free to bring difference characters to each session at will.
Some house rules:
Athletics and Close Combat skills will use Str instead of Agi
Adepts cannot spend race points on Magic, the Adept Priority will be D Magic 2, C Magic 4, B Magic 6
Technomancers may Submerge during character creation to take the Living Network and/or Machine Mind Echo.
If you would like more information feel free to PM me directly. I would prefer if rules questions be asked in the Shadowrun 6e I started so this thread can be used to keep track of campaigns progress.

Of course, I'm just another player and it's @Inquisitor66 who has the final say as he's our GM. So take my input with a grain of salt,
Your explanation is correct as far as I am aware

I didn't bring anything with me this week. Got room for a bum to see this game in action? Do I need anything, mats wise?
I'd also be open for a gaslands demo (didn't bring cars), or even watching someone play.
There's also a chance I might not make it this week, hoping that's not the case. If i'm not there by 5pm, you'll know.
You are welcome to join, I brought sample characters for drop in players

I will be there to run a short intro game of Shadowrun 6th edition followed by a discussion of a relaxed Shadowrun campaign.
Feel free to join in, its a brand new edition and I will have several pre-gens.

In my experience this is one of most user friendly editions. There are some changes that c as n catch a veteran unawares, but I have been enjoying this edition immensely so far.
