Burk Posted January 19, 2014 Report Posted January 19, 2014 Need a shotgun stud to ID the model of a winchester 12 guage over under. It doesnt have a model nubmer on it and I have no idea the type it is to price it for my in-laws. Any gun nuts? Quote
HeroZero Posted January 19, 2014 Report Posted January 19, 2014 Model 21 Deluxe is my best guess but I can't see the trigger guard. Quote
Burk Posted January 19, 2014 Author Report Posted January 19, 2014 trigger guard pics. First the one with the check buttstock (it also has the ergo front grip. Pics below. And then the other trigger guard. Also, when I look up the model 21 deluxe it looks like a side by side. this is an over under, so I am i messing ] up on my search foo :) They are probably 20+ years old (not sure about that but pretty sure they are old based upon the story I was told). I can verify.. 1 Quote
Weav Posted January 19, 2014 Report Posted January 19, 2014 I know this doesn't help you short term Mark, but my brother will be in town in early April. We'll stop by at that time if you still want some assistance. He'll know what they are, or if not, what to disassemble to find out. Quote
Burk Posted January 19, 2014 Author Report Posted January 19, 2014 cool weav. I will let the in-laws know just in case they want to wait. Quote
HeroZero Posted January 19, 2014 Report Posted January 19, 2014 My bad, from the pics looked side by side. If it is an O/U then my dollars to doughnuts its a 101, pigeon grade or higher. Quote
dalmer Posted January 19, 2014 Report Posted January 19, 2014 Hello there, Looks like a 101 select to me. Stay safe, don Quote
Burk Posted January 19, 2014 Author Report Posted January 19, 2014 Looking on-line, it looks like the 101 qual or pigeon as it is a 12 guage. Thanks all...now to figure out what it is worth. Quote
HeroZero Posted January 19, 2014 Report Posted January 19, 2014 Depends on condition, and its a rather fickle market. Over under shotguns are a special market too. My advice get a reputable bid from a gunsmith that you don't intend to sell it to Quote
dalmer Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 Hello there, Gunbroker.com has em all over the board... nice ones over $ 1k, other ones way less. What HeroZero suggested is good... might even get decent trade stuff? Stay safe, don Quote
