adventuresinpainting Posted October 29, 2020 Report Posted October 29, 2020 Hey guys, We're professional miniatures painters and were given a ton of warmachine and other minis. However, there's one model that we can't identify, and we'd like some help with. We believe he might be a GW dwarf model from approximately 2006. Quote
Ish Posted October 29, 2020 Report Posted October 29, 2020 The rounded icon hanging from the bottom of his beard is highly indicative of him being a Citadel Miniatures design, but he doesn't seem to be in the Dwarf Collector's Guide that GW put out in `04. The lack of a slotta tab is annoying, since that is a dead giveaway that it's a Citadel design and usually narrows down a design to the year it was released (or at least pretty close to it). 1 Quote
valourunbound Posted October 29, 2020 Report Posted October 29, 2020 This is my go-to site for this sort of thing: http://www.solegends.com/citadel/catindex.htm Then again, I'm usually looking for 80s Skaven. They may not have much in the way of newer models, but I saw some 90s and 2000s catalogs listed. 1 Quote
jesselowe Posted October 30, 2020 Report Posted October 30, 2020 I bet that the shield is glued on wrong. It should be attached so that it's resting on the ground and the dwarf is holding the top of it. It's possible the shield is from another miniature. What does the back of the figure look like? 1 Quote
Raindog Posted October 30, 2020 Report Posted October 30, 2020 It is a Dwarf Thane with a shield oddly attached to it. The shield hand has been cut and reattached and the wings on the helm are cut off. 2 5 1 Quote
