Brother Glacius
That is a whole lot of "no information". Any chance you could provide some specifics? What is a "grinder"? Is that a free for all, last man standing event? What tonnages are you expecting people to bring? Or maybe I'm making too much out of it? Maybe its just an invitation to come to MM and play battletech there, up to you to sort out how? Either way, it would be great if you could clarify things. Sgt. Rock
So a grinder is a free-for-all event wherein everyone starts in a light mech, then after they get blown up, they move up to a medium, then a heavy, then finally an assault. We'll likely be having no more than 5-6 people per table with it, because otherwise it can bog down quite a bit. We'll have loaner mechs available, but if you want to bring your own, any stock mechs from the Succession Wars TRO or A Game of Armored Combat are fair game. There will be tables for open play as well, depending on what folks want to throw down with. This is our first Battletech day, so we're still trying to feel out what the community wants. 2
