sergentzimm
this reminds me of the south park where george lucas is raping indiana jones. just make it stop
Raak
Is there really any genuine surprise here? I saw this coming and I don't even play fantasy. Rapid release; live with it or choose an edition and stick with it, I say.
intrizic
choose an edition and stick with it, I say. This is my hope for the Fantasy community. Empower yourselves, find your bliss and STAY THERE, please do not let GW dictate this anymore. Learn from what happened to 40K

VonVilkee
But I like where 40k went! Okay so the book costs are too high so some forces spend way too much on rules but with a more open mind to army construction it rocks!
Raak
I like where it (40k) went too once I let go and remembered how to have fun again. Sportsmanship is making sure that your opponent has the same great experience from the game that you are seeking and I think that 7e 40k allows/challenges us to do this. Stay Positive, keep rolling dice with friends, distribute zero fks.
VonVilkee
Always said, take your army and imagine playing against it with your opponents army. Would you have fun, or feel totally crushed? Why? Then fix it! Have told but don't stream roll...idea is to never steamroll nor be steamrolled. Easier said than done I realize but still a good rule of thumb!
nathonicus
Eh, if I wanted a career in game design, I would pursue one. Games that you pay money for should work out of the box. There are plenty of great DIY games out there, many of them free. /grump
VonVilkee
they do work out of the box, you just have to see eye to eye with your opponent as you do in any game. There is no perfect game out there, if you don't see eye to eye with your opponent then it is going to fall apart. Okay I take part of that back maybe go is perfect... But I like my fancy stories and heroics!
