Hey, I am just starting out and bought enough stuff to field 300pts with the ability to swap. This is my first list built with some of the things recommended to me. What do you think? Please guide this newb.

You are going to want to have a link team. The Jaguars or the Alguaciles would form the link, but they need to be in one group.  Everything else looks groovy. The Intruder LT is a great choice. The Intruder HMG and Reaktion Zond are essential to me.

Hey!  Glad to see you're getting into the game!   I think that this list will work fine if you move a couple models into different groups like RD said.   The other issue that you will begin to encounter is that you have a lack of specialist troops (doctors, hackers, engineers, forward observers, etc.) in this list.  For beat'em-up and kill style missions this list will excel, but in many scenarios you will need button pushers to complete objectives.   Stick with this list to get started, and once you have the basics down try to add in specialists to be more competitive in ITS style missions.   AS an example, you could morph the list into something like this:

This keeps most of what you had before, but also gives you 6 models that can complete various objectives in different scenarios.   You get a full five-man link team, plenty of heavy weapons, and some of those lovely dirty Nomad tricks. 


Edit:  if you want a doctor you can wiggle the points aorund a bit to fit in a Daktari, or switch the FO alquaciles to paramedics.

Not necessarily. Hackers in linkteams cannot perform any long-skill hacks (supportware), as doing so removes them from the link. It may be better to re-jigger a few things. Give me 10 mins.

So, the list still has the overall killyness of your first, but with more specialist options.  The 5-man Alguacile link team sets up in overwatch, ready to blast whatever comes into LOF with two sniper shots and two missiles.  Paramedic there to hopefully stand somebody up.  Intruder HMG hunts.  Jaguars throw smoke, and the Tomcats walk in from the sides, specialists with combi/flamethrower?  Jeebus.

here's an annoying list using all the fun mercs.  those dogged 13 point bandit panzers are to be feared!  id use the bandit link team with intruders pretty much every day of the week with corgidoor.  after that its just pudding.... tasty tasty pudding.  dog running through smoke with senor massacre nearby if there's msv2 issues, intruders shooting through smoke, spotlight through smoke to bring missiles through smoke... oh and koalas flying to greet those that so happily survived the bombardment.  corgidoor is so mean...... tbh id probably not run the intruder Lt as he's a bit over that line of 'too expensive to be a hiding Lt'
