Just seeing if anyone might have an electric bass guitar and amp laying around that they don't play anymore. I know it's a long shot but it never hurts to ask ;)

I'd prefer a 4 string but will consider anything. I can buy it for a reasonable price or could trade some 40k or Fantasy for it. Not looking for an expensive instrument, just an entry or mid-level one.

I've got one that I should probably just admit that I'm never going to play again. I paid like $400 for it back in the 90s, but it's been kept safe indoors in the case, not in a storage unit or anything. Probably needs to be re-strung, and might want a new cord, too. Maybe want $100 for it now? I have no idea what these things go for. Also, it's metallic purple, jsyk.

Be careful. The bass guitar is gateway to trouble. The next thing you know you will be playing a sitar. Don't say you were not warned!

It's actually for my wife! I play guitar and she wants to be able to jam with me and my drummer. This will be her first stringed instrument, I'll make sure to let her know it's a gateway ;)

I'm interested! It's for my wife so I don't think she'll mind purple. PM incoming.

I have a Fender Jazz bass, narrower neck, nice sound, and a Peavy amp that I would be willing to sell.

I'm interested in this too. PM incoming.
