Kinda, the challenge is more complex than that. You have to keep each "player's" plans separate, but also react to the plans as one would with a critical eye. Even with RPGs, this can be hard, which I suspect is why most NPCs seem to have low intelligence scores...Just a lot of work to compartmentalize all the different viewpoints and the plans within plans. Same issue in writing fiction or films, which is exactly why most protagonists are pretty stupid, or otherwise unable to get a full grasp of the situation. Otherwise it's just mathhammer, more or less. You aren't reacting to the opponent, you are just reading a script and it's your turn. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
