weapons firing gouts of flame with heat so intense they had to make a special armor for it.....do you really want your beard exposed to that? As silly as it may seem...it fits perfectly for dwarfs who treasure their beard nearly above all else.

Whoooo! it came today! Got my copy of Deadzone! So far pretty pleased with it. Game mat is really nice, terrain seems quite sturdy. Haven't busted out the models yet though. Going through my enforcer deck now. Can't wait to give it a whirl.

As I said, I like content. My worry is the appearance of content to push model sales and the potential for varying rules. Also, this content isn't coming cheap. $50 a pop for books that are supplements is plain crazy in my book.

So now a new Chaos codex is about to hit. I'm normally all for content, but this seems a bit ridiculous. I'm really curious to hear from event organizers how they intent to handle all of this. I mean on the one hand, it seems like you really can't block anything that has come out, but then on the other, there is no way most players are going to be able to keep up with the content, and issues during play are bound to arise at a much higher rate. I will admit that I feel completely overwhelmed by the current release pace...and I don't even play often. What scares me is the risk of multiple books that have slightly different rules or options on the same unit. For example, the new hellbrute kit. GW wants to sell it. But hellbrutes are not exactly a top tier unit from CSM codex. Even people that got the model from the box set aren't typically fielding it. So GW releases a new "codex" that heavily features the hellbrute. Does that mean they give it new rules to make it attractive and viable? Again, this is just speculation, I don't know what the new codex has in it. But that is my fear. GW will just start pumping out new codexes that enhance flagging models so that sales will pick up.

I have lots of mtg but it's pretty random. Only IG thing I have is an old rapier destroyer.

What's the diff between allies and detachment? Seems you can still take them for other armies right?

Sorry, Longbeards are Immune to Psych. They allow friendly units within 6" to reroll failed panic. So yeah. longbeards can't flee. Also have to agree with the AP breath attacks...seems legit.

Hey James, what pieces do you need to build greatswords? I have some mordheim bits laying around, if you only need the swords, I may be able to help. Let me know.

I thought the free company box came with some greatswords in it? You know, the big curvy ones. I would think you could make some passable models using those weapons.

Dreamforge is selling the leviathan for only $75 with their current sale.

I would go swordsmen and more greatswords if possible. The other units seems fairly well sized.

All caught up on Sherlock. Fantastic series. 8 or 9 easily.

So I'm looking for a new Warriors of Chaos army book (hardback), or (and very unlikely) a new dwarf book. Have tons of GW and non-GW gaming stuff to trade.

If there was any chance at all that I would play epic again, I would want this lot. Even without that chance I'm still tempted. :) I hate this sickness.

Gah! okay, so playing quite a bit, and jesus christ...tie's suck. I mean suck so much you wonder if anyone is going to play them. I've gotten quite a few unlocks and boosted all of the gear substantially. Seems like every freaking missile in the game finds this thing, and its energy depletes like nobody's business. I had to basically play wack-a-mole with it in reverse...ducking in and out of the wreckage to get off some shots...of course with only two rockets...that doesn't last long. It is so tough to be a tie pilot. However, every once in a while, when it seemed like the entire enemy team wasn't focused on killing me....I did get in some decent kills, and even topped the board a few times...but I chalk that up to mostly luck and just learning how to avoid getting caught in the open.

We played in the same match for a bit, I even shot at you and launched a missile your way. :) I had to go to the hanger to buy my Y-wing after that match. It is now level 10 with lots of upgrades. Now I just gotta try to upgrade the parts on it.

I may have beta codes to give out too. Played it some tonight...think I saw Burk on there as Burkdawg. Finally figured out how to buy ships and upgrade them. Love the Y-wing until someone pays attention to me. Then its like shooting a fish in a barrel. This last build is much better.
