  1. The same resolution that I've had for years, and never satisfy: paint more miniatures. Also, play more Dice Masters.

    Dice Masters?

The character does, but the three variants do not. For example, the AvX starter comes with three Hulk cards: Anger Issues, Annihilator, and Jade Giant. In the foil packs you will find an uncommon called Green Goliath. The fourth card is usually a common, though it can be common, uncommon, rare or even super-rare, in theory. However, I've only seen common or uncommon.

    Dice Masters?

Fluffy forces are great fun if both players are playing them. If one is playing unlimited constructed and the other is not, then it will likely be a bloodbath. As far as the first question, it depends on how important those two cards are to your build. If they are crucial, then you don't want to run the risk of not having them if your opponent doesn't bring them. I don't have BEWD in my unlimited constructed build, but I do have PXG.

    Dice Masters?

Any global, including ones on character cards. You may use Prof X global (PXG).

    Dice Masters?

You may use any global from any card on either side of the board. For example, I often bring the D&D Battle of Faerun basic action (BAC) Resurrection; that card includes a global that allows you to spend a shield to prep a die from your bag. I do not have to purchase a Resurrection die in order to use its global, I may use the global at anytime allowed by the rules.

    Dice Masters?

Sorry for the delay of my reply. I wanted to be at my PC for the reply, as opposed to my phone. First, please understand that BEWD rare is one of the best cards in the game, and nearly universally used. It is typically only used for the global (BEWDG). The issue you're having is that there are interchangeable terms in Dice Masters: Character/Monster (unrelated to this conversation, sidekick/NPC); so, by activating BEWDG, the next dice you buy has its cost reduced by two. So, I spend my bolt energy to activate BEWDG, KO a character in my field, then I can buy an eight cost card for six, seven cost for five and so on...it doesn't have to be a Yuh-Gi-Oh (YGO) monster, it can be any dice available for you to purchase. As far as the build design of the game, it is changing and rapidly. The list you posted would have been a classic example of the meta as recent as six months ago. However, in the past half-year several very cool sets came out, and that has added over 300 cards to the game. My 'unlimited constructed' build only uses one of those cards, though I will say I haven't practiced with it much. One of my big complaints over the past year playing the game was the consistency in contructed builds. Now we are slowing getting past that. Many long-time WizK!ds gamers believe that Avengers vs XMen and Uncanny XMen (the first two sets) will no longer be available for official tournament play in the next six months. In HeroClix, I believe they call these sets 'Golden Age', and the average tournament doesn't use them. Keep the questions coming!

It can be really confusing to start. I recommend watching YouTube videos from 'See It Played'
  8. Who would have ever thought Keith would be the defender in an Ordo argument? Haha

    I have a PS4, lets play sometime
  11. Overall, I was entertained, never bored, and I didn't want it to end. However, I felt the tone was too lite for my liking. It lacked some substance, some tooth or grit...I left wanting more, but not in the good way. I disliked that the First Order was a clone of the Empire. How about some new visuals? Iconography? I agree about resources, where did they get them? At least he's Kylo Ren and not Darth Ren. I think Fin/Finn has some Jedi in him. How else do you explain his ability to shake off his training and be somewhat effective initially against wounded Ren? Jollyork made a good joke about the worst CGI was Fisher's face :) I thought it was odd that Leia didn't accompany Rey to see Luke. Tired of Deathstars...yawn Hated the Ben Solo casting, loved the Kylo Ren character.
  12. Nice game, Josh. You capitalized perfectly on opportunities and deserved the win. Congrats, buddy

I've been reviewing the NCE and I like it. We'll be using those rules for the league. As of now, all six original gangs, Outlanders, Ash Waste Nomads and Enforcers are legal. We ready have one Enforcers gang, so I'd prefer not to include any more...helps with the league theme.

I'm reviewing the Necromunda Community Edition to determine if this is the rule set we'll be using. I'm leaning towards an early-to-mid December start. Games will likely have a minimum number of terrain pieces and a smaller playing area.
  17. Wow, very exciting times for the community. I welcome the new Consul, and want to thank evil_bryan for his amazing work as the head poobah over the last several years.

I believe all good Necromunda campaigns run off of a theme as opposed to scheduled games. As a result, my idea is that a new dome has been discovered (the start to any good Necromunda campaign), and the Ratskin scouts are reporting crazy archeotech is being discovered. Gangs are getting rich overnight, and taking their wealth back to their home turf, and using it to destroy their enemies. However, there is one specific piece of tech that is of particular cultural and monetary value. The gang that locates this tech will then have mandatory encounters as they attempt to exit the dome, and if they lose the battle, the tech falls to the next gang. I anticipate this will cause some very tense games. The first gang to successfully exit the dome with the archeotech is the campaign champion.

I've been kicking around the idea of a Necromunda league this fall, and I'm curious about interest from Ordo. Anyone think they can commit to a league?
  21. I shudder to think about some teams with even one player +1 AG
  22. I think they work for proxies, but I'm not a fan of the models
  23. Weav - Vampires; not participating in the 7's tournament
