I've used some sepia inks in places where I want the gold to be a little more aged or worn, and I've used several coats of it for things like my Sagittarum squad's weapons and the "engine bitz" on the backside of the terminators and my dreadnought. My lousy photographs don't really capture the real look of the models well...
I’m also kinda trying to threat the eye of the needle here. On the one hand, I want my army to look like a solid wall of the shiniest of shiny gold. Because that’s the Custodes’ whole schtick. On the other hand, I want them to look like I did more than just spray paint them gold and slap them on the table. (Because I did! I really did! There’s at least three gold paints on every guy, plus accent colors and gemstones, and the Vallejo Liquid Gold that makes the main body so smooth and shiny is kind of a PITA to work with.)
Oh, yeah, I know all too well how the photography can let down something that looks great in person. Carry on!

Do you do a wash on these? I think it could really help bring out the detail with that much uninterrupted gold.

I didn't mean to sound exclusionary. The more, the merrier!
I do get your point. It is far superior to play in-person, with actual physical models and tables. But sometimes, for a variety of reasons, it's just not possible.

I've always found double shooting dreads to have huge weak spots as a result. I've always wanted a crushing combat attack. You pay a fair chunk of points for those attacks might as well make them mean something.
Also, smashing things in close combat with giant stompy robots is fun. So is blasting things with their guns, but it's best when you get to do both!

Even if I don't jump in, thank you so much for the TTS tutorial. I'll let you know soon if I'm in or not.

Also, some of us are a couple hundred miles away, and can't make it to WOW on the regular 😉

I don't have those, but I do have some of the slightly smaller wings from the Stormcast Prosecutors. I didn't get the Hammer shipped because the automated postal kiosk is out of order right now, so I could add those in.

All songs are, in fact, covers of 4’33” by American composer John Cage. Some take more liberties than others in changing the lyrics, chords, or duration.
This is true even in the case of songs that were written before Cage composed 4'33"!

I can hook you up with the Thunder Hammer. PM me.

In fact, Autocannon turret with Lascannon sponsons was the only build possible on the first Predator kit GW did.

The plus to dice roll on wound is kind of amazing. I'd take plenty of extra little characters just to be able to support your units with those extra attacks.
Also, that actually applies more broadly than it first appears. It kicks in any turn you get Charged, even if you were already locked in combat before that. So if your Opponent tries to bring reinforcements into the combat, you get the Wound bonus again, which is pretty brutal.

Yeah, they've been separated out before. Both turret types have still always had access to both sponson types.

They must be mine!

I haven't used it either, because my previous computer could only barely run it. Also, all the information I could find about how to do stuff on there was in video format, which is terrible for me. I'm really looking forward to @Lyraeus's thread about it.

As long as you wear a mask Ordo is taking all precautions available. Not many come to game night from what I can tell so potential of exposure is not high. Especially with Oregon numbers overall not being huge.
I can show you how to use TTS. I am going to be putting a thread on this over the next few days and run people through some small 25 PL games. I will be walking people through how to set up their army and how to set a game up. It is overall simple but there are a few steps.
The nice thing Count is that your Crusade Order of Battle can encompass ALL of those factions. You set up 50 PL of units and can add more as you go. I will be doing a post on this as well.
What would be your main faction?
Y'know... If this is primarily on TTS, I could actually join in for once. Probably AdMech, I've been playing a ton of WH40K: Mechanicus and it's got me really grooving on them.

@WestRider Does 3p today work? Please advise.
Sorry, I hadn't managed to make it to the forum until now today. Send me a PM, because those ping my email and I'll see them even if I haven't checked the forum. At this point, today does not work, sorry.

I always figured on adapting the Gorkamorka rules for Vehicles. I should pull those out and compare.

I like the ones that stop the Pitch Invasion and Thrown Rock results.
