The 22” x 30” Kill Team boards are actually slightly bigger than 22” x 30”; because they’re A1 sized sheets of paper...

They're actually a bit smaller than A-standard. A4 paper fits very tightly in their standard boxes (as does A3 in the starter box size), so the card battlefields they've been doing fold down to A3 or A4, minus a bit so you can slide a finger in to get it out of the box.

    1) when do i get more intercessors with chainswords, because Blood Angel reasons.

Also, when do we get actual Primaris Assault Marines, with Jump Packs as well as the chainswords?

Crusade should be really cool. I can't wait to read those rules. I'm not sure if you'll need someone to "run" the crusade like a narrative game, or if you just play games and slowly expand things independently. Clearly, I'd be playing it with buddies, or even an ordo crew, but I'm curious.

I'm guessing it takes some cues from the WarCry campaign system, which is all player tracked, just honour system. Works great as long as everyone involved is on the same page about what they want.

  4. I've got one. I haven't the slightest clue what a fair price for it would be, tho. Looking around on eBay, I can't find any singles, but there are a few of the various CCW sprues available as blisters. Based on those, call it maybe $3 including shipping. Sound reasonable?

I see this sentiment posted a lot on Facebook, and I understand what people are saying, but to me it's not a handicap, it's just a *different* advantage. If a Battalion is the "basic" FOC, then you are paying CPs to break this restriction. Yes, I might more CPs, but you have X more HQ, heavy support choices, fast attack, etc.

Plus we don't know how much the other detachments cost. If I have 1 or 2 more CPs than you because you took a patrol detachment, I think "hamstrung" and "suffering" might be a bit disingenuous.

It's not really any different than using any of the before game Stratagems now. Upgrading to a Chapter Master or Master of the Forge or Berserker Terminators or whatever. The vast majority of the time, when people use those, it's functionally done during the list-writing stage, and they're planning on using that every time they play the list. You trade away one form of in-game flexibility for (depending on what you pick up with it) more raw power or a different form of in-game flexibility.

Anytime.  my schedule is wide open.  Do you have time tomorrow (thursday) morning?  say around 10?

Today is one of the few that doesn't really work, unfortunately. Thursdays are the day I'm most likely to be busy.

I think the problem is that decreasing points is more fun for players than increasing them.

If my crappy unit gets better I might try and use it again and be happy.

If your strong units gets expensive, I might not notice and you will be sad.

Also, in general, people get more excited when they get to add something extra than when they have to take something out. Don't get me wrong, I'm all in favour of higher points costs and lower model counts. But the general psychology does tend to lean toward reductions rather than increases.

I put you in the division 2.  Although your team is returning your had the lowest TV and win/loss record of others I considered.

Thanks! I was honestly kinda hoping for that. Don't really feel like I can hang with the vets yet.
