    I rather like the first option. Cool is the option to do 1 or 2 days with the prizes different for each giving those who can only do 1 day the option to do so rather then not attend at all.

    Starting to look at playing team Yankee. Might go with VDV with hinds for something a bit different.

    I would do it again if we can get enough guys to do a decent job. It canbe a lotof fun but like fing said if there arenot enough guys to do it you burn up real fasttrying to get teh games and reports in.

    I thought we were due to do an early war match up for this as we have done both late and mid so far?

    me and steve are always up to defend the south! Maybe we can do early war and give them more of an even chance.

    ill try to be there with 1420 lists to use Russian German and American. Looks like i will be teaming up with Zeeck for this.

    well my event got canceled so looks like ill be able to make it after all. Steve wants me to run my french soumua company but i may go Vichy french if we really need more axis players.

    what the hell you have to pay for BAR? they were integrated on the squad level and by late war most marine squads had 2-3 in them this is why they gave the us the automatic rifles rule in the first place. And 1000 point for 2 Sherman wtf? they could not have just limited the number of tanks available tot he platoon? Not so sure i am going to want to play the pacific now but will wait and see the book for myself anyway.

    I will probably do my legionaries for this one. I can run them as either Vichy or free french depending on whats needed for balance. I can also bring a German 38t army for loan if its needed and maybe a Russian list as well.

    you can build any 1250 point force from the Normandy books. It looks better if you build units that were actually in the sector you are fighting. the named units are the firestorm unit that are allocated to the battle and are extra units to use.

    Some of us in portland had been looking into playing cold war comander in 1/285. For big battles i think it would be a great scale to play in. All i have so far is 2 apache choppers right now though. But if some one has spares i would be happy to push tin with them.

    sounds like ill not be at GG much longer. my main reason for going there is FOW. To bad was a great shop but if i have to order [big bad swear word] in all the time i may as well go straight tot he source.

    Hate blue moons french ww1 guys they are really freakishly large and my buddy Steve has bought the one that were at gg. So very not 15mm more like a 20mm fig. And now im pissed about GG quitting on FOW. May have to find a new store.
