  1. There will be another Age of Sigmar Tournament this year at OFCC. We have a 3 person HoG (@kjtw @deadwing34 @threejacks) team working on the event this year, we are hoping to make it the best AoS event yet at OFCC, so please consider attending. Number of rounds: 5 rounds total (3 on Sat and 2 on Sun) Days of event: August 17th (Sat) and 18th (Sun) Rules: 2000 point matched play. Standard fully painted and based OFCC requirement. Scenarios taken from Generals Handbook 2019. This will be an ITC event. so you will get ITC points for playing. All scores will be uploaded after the event. We will be using the Best Coast Pairings app. for pairings and scoring. List submission and faction selection will also be using the Best Coast Pairings app. All event details are still in flux, the full rules pack for the event will be out after Generals Handbook 2019 is out (most likely in July). 2. I will definitely be signing up for this once tickets go on sale, can't wait.
  3. Just wanted to give people a heads up about a WH40k Kill Team Commanders campaign my friend will be running at Guardian Games starting on 2/18 at 6:30pm. Further details are located below. Hope to see a few of you out for it. https://www.facebook.com/events/359009724830208/ https://boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/252741/guardians-kill-team-commander-campaign-portland-or
  4. Just lets do it, I will be at Guardian Games around 5:30pm (I hope) on Tuesday to get things set up. I am going to send you a PM as well.
  5. Loving it so far, you are a great...and fast painter. Lets see them hit the table next Tuesday from 6 to 10 at Guardian Games ok....haha! They look great but will they play great?
  6. Well at Guardian most have been playing between 1000 to 2000, it’s very much been show up and play whatever. Most coordination has been happening on the GG AoS facebook group. Currently Geeks and Games is playing a Skirmish campaign.
  7. I am at Guardian almost every week. Alex and Kyle sometimes come too. Keith plays over at Geeks. Geeks has a very good crowd maybe 10 over at geeks. Guardian has maybe 6 to 8 on a really good day.
  8. The two most active local places to play are Guardian Games on Tuesdays from 6 to 10 and Geeks and Games on Fridays from 6 to 10. Not sure how much play is at either of those locations you mentioned.
  9. Yep no problem glad you could make it out.
  10. Ok just so you know I am planning on getting there at 5pm today and leaving at 7pm, I have something I need to leave early for. I normally am there until 9 or 10.
  11. Wow really sorry to hear, just so you know we play every Tuesday from 6pm to 10pm at Guardian Games.
  12. Glad to see you have interest in Warhammer Underworlds, its an amazing quick and well balanced fun game. Yah for the most up to date rules you really want the ones that come with Nightvault. Its definitely better to get the Nightvault starter due it coming with the most up to date rules and it also comes with the magic dice. I actually threw away my Shadespire rule book once I got Nightvault. They may eventually post up the Nightvault rules as a PDF like they did with the Shadespire rules. You can also get the boards from Shadespire separate now as well. They are not going to reprint the Shadspire core set now that Nightvault is out. I can probably give you some extra sets of tokens I have if you want, if you have both Shadespire and Nightvault you have an excess of tokens.
  13. They are well known in AoS as one of the most powerful armies right now. Think Imperial Knights in 40k haha!
  14. The next event is now live and we will be having prize support from the Nightvault kits. We had 9 people show up to the last event, please consider attending! We may even be giving out some of the new Warbands if they are out by then. 15. Actually in AoS 2.0 you can wait to use it when you need it at the beginning on the battleshock phase. The command system got an overhaul in AoS 2.0. As long as you have command points you can use multiple command abilities during you turn. And yes there are a few armies and units that can use some adjustments, hopefully in GH19 we will see some nice adjustments. AoS 2.0 rules can be found below: https://www.games-workshop.com/resources/PDF/AoS_Rulesheets/ENG_AoSSW_Rules_booklet_web.pdf
  16. Yep Keith is super excited and plans to buy a bunch of stuff and also plans to bring his Gobo's to Rose City Wrath.
  17. Heads up if we can get to 12 players in attendance we will be giving out a second Warband, so please consider attending and bringing a friend. Coming up this Saturday!
  18. Holy crap these look awesome, finally Destruction gets a big huge release from GW.
  19. Yep its hard focusing on too many large scale games, 40k is in the back seat for me right now. My main focuses are on AoS and Warhammer Underworlds right now.
  20. Yah we play every Tuesday at Guardian Games from 6 to 10. We have 2 dedicated tables set up for it along with dedicated tables for Warhammer Underworlds as well. I personally will be playing Warhammer Underworlds today, I didn’t bring my AoS stuff with me. You may want to post up on the AoS Guardian Games group because I am not sure how many people that go look here. But there is almost always people loookg to play either game. Hope to see you there.
  21. This event will be ran the same as the last one, 3 rounds best of 3 with 90 min per round. All participants will get a prize package and ITC points as well. Top place will get the Glass Trophy, 2nd, 3rd and best painted will get a deck box. Then one lucky gamer that did not win any other prizes will get a Warband box of his choice. Hope to see all of you Underworlders out for this one! On Jan 5th from noon to 6pm at Geeks and Games.
  22. Yah the original Skirmish was crap, I am hoping this is a fully fleshed out new version. I doubt it will be as polished and fleshed out as Kill Team. But if they can get it on some level close to current Kill Team it would be awesome.
  23. I second what Norrad is saying. As far as I know the biggest weekly AoS day in the Portland Metro area is Friday's at Geek and Games. But we get a decent head count at Guardian Games on Tuesdays as well.
  24. The next Glass trophy tournament is all set up. FB Event listing: https://www.facebook.com/events/1918368925137572/
  25. Yah my sons Magors deck was using a ton of these he is going to have to change it up too, poor kid haha!
