So... I'm too late to the drama/discussion going on and just read the conclusion. So I thought I'd just leave this here... I may or may not be at DTG on this strange day that is after Monday but before Wednesday. *cough* I'll be there *cough*. I may be looking to play a game called Warhammer 40k. If you too may or may not be at the store, feel free to post or pm me. I played a wacky/fun game last week. This week I want to test out my tshft possible list. I'll be there on the hour that follows 4, but is before 6... *cough* 5pm *cough*.

http://www.tshftopen.com/ It was requested that I post this up here. For those who don't know, this is a 50-60 person 40k and Fantasy GT that is taking place in Seattle on January 10-11th. It's a smaller GT, but is using the Frontline Gaming format found here: http://www.frontlinegaming.org/las-vegas-open-hotel-booking/las-vegas-open-2015-warhammer-40k-championships/ I thought it would be perfect for some of the WarHamsters who maybe haven't been to a GT before. While by a GT's nature it is competitive, it's a minor event when compared to say, the LVO, Nova, Adepticon, etc. There will be some pipehitters there but I would speculate that well over half the field will not be regular tournament circuit guys. I will be there, I plan on using it as practice for LVO. I will not be staying at the hotel, I'll just drive to Seattle in the morning. If anyone would like to carpool, let me know. At the end of the day, however you like to play 40k, it's still a 5 game event within driving distance. Worth it as far as I'm concerned. Cheers.

Any point level, have some crazy space wolf stuff to try. Usually team games are 1000pts a player, 2000 a side. Alternatively I can bring some random daemons if you'd rather it be Daemons vs All.

I'd like to test out a crazy space wolf list I have (counts as SW/SM, themed from a fallen SW successor chapter in a BL novel). The list isn't complete yet so some of my character models are not WYSIWYG. 1850 if anyone is interested. The earlier the better.

Yes, 40k. Your cool with a tournament style list? Sure. The games I play locally are quite friendly, just the lists are competitive. I only play competitive "games" at the national events I attend.
