Ill be there probably 9-10. I am taking the day off and making this 3 days of nerdiness. I am going to play a match with Sherbert whenever he ends up arriving, but before that I would be down for 9th or board games. Any board game is cool with me. I know elder sign requires at least 4 people to be good? I would imagine power grid is similar. I don't really have any 2 player games myself, besides axis and allies :D. I do have some super simple board games that we could probably get people into (Avalon and Coup)

Hey deadwing, I would be interested in playing something. I have a match to play sometime Friday afternoon (T9A), but it is contingent on my opponent's arrival. So I am a maybe. Earlier is better for me.

Hey guys, Don't worry about submitting your lists 30 days before. I was over optimistic back then, the night before will be fine with me :D To that end, if anyone who has already submitted wants to submit again, that is fine.

That is a very valid point, I had not considered the crossover before. I would be fine with switching the scenario out if it is a contentious idea. It was picked solely because the rules for it are so simple. But I cringe at the thought of someone getting a bit excited and yelling out something they might have not fully thought through during the heat of the match, which could certainly generate some problems.

You only have 2 scoring units sir! This is legal, but one of the scenarios becomes impossible for you to score a 20-0 due to the lack of a 3rd standard. *Scenario 3

We will be sporting the latest rules for T9A at 4500 points. The scenarios are non-standard and the scoring is a bit different than you might be use to. We are hoping to get 16 players in this year! Yeah the money is easy to spend. Dice age has plenty of stuff to drop money on too. I got clippers and glue with mine. Cant go wrong with glue!

@Zeev, My roommate sounded interested in that! We shall see as the date gets closer. How comprehensive is your available range of dark elves?

I would be down for shaving 15 mins off each round to boost the lunch to an hour. That way we are not restricted to Subway :D I am in as well of course. I think I can talk my roommate into it, but he does not have an army. Anyone have high elves they can loan him (that is what he played in 8th ed)? Otherwise he will prob just play my dwarves. If anyone is considering this tournament, but getting a hotel would be a deal breaker, I am offering up my guest bedroom to any takers. I live in SE Portland, about a 20 min drive from the venue. If you are allergic to cats, this is not the house for you.

Hey everyone, I am late to introduce myself as your HoG for T9A this year. For those of you who have not attended an OFCC tournament yet, I can only describe it as the single best tournament you can ever find in the Pacific NW. Besides good games and fair opponents, the format of the tournament encourages outside the box play styles, top notch sportsmanship, sweet paint jobs, and plenty of screaming out loud. As a quick summary, we will be using the most up to date rule set v1.3.4 with any and all FAQ documents that come up before the date of the tournament. As many of you know, T9A has locked the rules down, so rest assured there will not be any changes to your army book between now and the event. We will be playing 4500 points with all army book and main rule book restrictions / requirements. The scenarios we will be playing however, are not standard. I pulled 5 scenarios from the home brew section of the T9A website to provide a bit more random flavor, and new ways of thinking about the game. Think about them from many perspectives, such as are the scenarios too complicated, are they too broad, do they slow the game down too much, are they easy to forget, are they biased to particular armies, can they be abused, ect. Will we have an idea of how many people are showing up for t9a before we have to buy tickets? Is it ok to submit my list without buying a ticket for this reason?

Glad to hear that the power creep issue was addressed directly. Though, it pains me that I did not have a chance to try some of the more unique options that were offered in 0.11. The SA skink cohort option of AHW along with all the poison stacking looked pretty sweet in 0.11. Just finished painting up my unit fillers in time for the cohorts to no longer be that interesting again .
