    Personally I think the japanese are the best nation early war. Night attacking infantry with nikuhaku teams, spearheading before the first turn, while your opponent has delayed reserves? Sounds like a winning combination to me!

    Not going to be there this thursday, since I'll be there Friday to play Team Yankee and all day Saturday for the tournament. Barca, you planning on showing up friday night at 7 for team yankee?

    My problem with 2000 pts is that there really isn't a constraint on your lists. You can bring everything and more. That being said I would still participate in a 2000 pts late war tournament.

    Zeke had an interesting idea, in that every player gets to control one token, and then all the remaining firestorm units will just roll off if they are not facing a player controlled force. I think it would add a lot of flavor to our battles as we'll be following our one company across the forests of the Loraine. Thoughts?

    With the release of the Bulge compilations I noticed they've put out a Firestorm: Lorianne Mini-Campaign. I know we had talked about doing Bulge battles this winter (I.e. post Tanksgiving) and was wondering if we were interested in doing this campaign. I know the Normandy campaign went a little too long and people lost interest, but I think that if we keep things moving we could have a lot of fun.     Yeah, I think that with the launch of team yankee, GHQ feels a need to retaliate as Battlefront is "stepping on their toes" as it were. That's why the timing of this post.

    That's interesting, because it felt to me like a very harsh attack on 15mm wargames and wargamers. I think Fingolfen's analysis breaks it down pretty well.

    So since the new bulge comp is coming out next month, will we be using those instead of Nuts, Devil's Charge, and BGG for this tourney? Also where do I need to go to register/who do I send my list to?

    I'm picking up everything this Friday, and then I'll bring any leftovers to you the following Thursday. Although the plan is to give it all to a friend of mine who's been wanting to pick up Flames of War.
