Completely new to Blood Bowl in general?
pdf of the current rulebook. Learn it, love it: http://www.thenaf.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/CRP1.pdf
pdf of the changes Cyanide made to the above Rulebook for BB2: http://www.bloodbowl-game.com/files/RulebookBB2.pdf
An article I like and one that every coach, even the most experienced, should read occasionally: https://fumbbl.com/help:The+Taoch!+of+Blood+Bowl%3A+A+Condensed+Guide+for+Newbies
Then play some games with some different teams to see what style fits how you like to play. I would recommend trying to focus on Bash (Orc/Dwarf) or Agility (Elf/Skaven) and try to get very good at one style or the other, though there are some Hybrid teams (Human/Lizards). These are jack of all, master of none types teams, but I prefer them myself. I would also say to find yourself some sort of private or moderated league somewhere because the Cyanide run open league is pretty crap imo, though I don't play there so maybe it has changed (not likely).
http://bbtactics.com/ has some very good articles on Teams, Skills, Players, and 1000TV starting rosters that are very good, though some might be a bit outdated these days. They also have forums for more specific questions, and host some BB2 leagues. There are 2 open matchmaking leagues and 2 scheduled format leagues (both of which will start a new season in 3-4 weeks).
The fumbbl.com Forums and Help section has some good stuff as well.
