Guest
If you haven't already noticed, all the start collecting boxes have gone up by at least $5. Not really sure when it happened. They were pretty consistently $85, now they are $90-95 (Space Wovles, and a few of the AoS boxes stayed at $85).
Sgt. Rock
GW actually announced this a month or so ago. They were pretty open about it. They also increased the prices of Citadel paints pretty much across the board. Even at $90-95, they're still a really good value for what you get.
Guest
I didn't think it was them being sneaky. Just me noticing the price hike. I usually notice these things late.
Sgt. Rock
Yeah, it's actually nice that they were up front about it this time around. In years past, they'd just slide it in under the radar, and we'd just keep buying, like the proverbial frog in a pot of boiling water. Lyraeus
Considering that these kits have a great value a few sheckles more is not a big deal.

Is that a Rick and Morty reference? I just noticed it.

Sgt. Rock
A shekel is the standard monetary unit of modern Israel. Roughly equivalent in purpose to a dollar, though decidedly not in value. Shekels were also common currencies in various middle eastern and Mesopotamian cultures throughout history. 1
