Opting to lay low? Stay home and stay safe, we'll catch you next time. THE MISSION Games we play: All, with a focus on Oathmark, Warhammer 40k & AoS, Blood Bowl, Necromunda, War Cry, board games and more. Check out the thread on the Thanatosis Crusade for info on the current 40K Campaign. While it is possible to find a pickup game at Game Night, it is much better to pre-arrange a game before coming down. New players are always welcome, feel free to stop by and check it out. BUT WHAT ABOUT COVID-19? Due to state mandate masks are now required for all attendees. Players are encouraged to spread out their games and avoid congestion. Do not attend game night if you experience any of the symptoms found here. GAME NIGHT EXPECTATIONS If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s taught us we don’t need more stress in our lives. As a result, Ordo is expecting an even greater level of friendliness and fellowship at Game Night than our normal high expectations. Please be aware that as always, the Czar has the ability to ask a player to leave if the Czar feels it necessary. Games are meant to be fun, so let’s have fun. Quote
ninefinger Posted August 16, 2021 Author Report Posted August 16, 2021 I’ll be trying to open by 4:00, but will be fighting to get off work early, and against traffic, so 4:30 or 5 may be more realistic. I’ll probably be bringing some Necromunda gangs with me, for some general hobby work or demo games if anybody wants one. Quote
Ish Posted August 16, 2021 Report Posted August 16, 2021 I’ll be there with my Oathmark army, hopefully for a 1,000 or 1,500 Point game. I have plenty of spare dwarves (about 4K total) if anyone would like a small demo game and doesn’t mind playing a dwarf on dwarf skirmish. Of course, building an army list doesn’t take very long at all, so if anyone reading this has an old WHFB army gathering dust, an under-used KoW or T9A army, or the like, feel free to bring them. For a 1,000 Point army you basically just need a suitably heroic looking warrior type model (for a Prince / General / Captain), maybe some sort of wizard or shaman type figure (for a Wizard), and about 30-40 other generic figures that can be arranged into units of regular soldiers (Spearmen, Archers, Swordsmen, etc.) We can put together a basic army list and get stuck in. Sgt. Rock Posted August 16, 2021 Report Posted August 16, 2021 If I feel up to it after work, I might take you up on that, Ish. I'd be coming from Camas, so I'd be looking at probably a 45 minute trip, but I've been keenly following the developments in the local interest in Oathmark lately. I'll let you know closer to the time of whether or not I feel up to it. 1 Quote
Sgt. Rock Posted August 17, 2021 Report Posted August 17, 2021 Don't think I'm going to make it in tonight. Tired after work, and I need some food. Maybe next time. 1 Quote
