Hello there,

I recently purchased the following for my son:

http://www.amazon.com/Photive-Waterproof-Wireless-Bluetooth-Shockproof/dp/B00K589F8A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1455757684&sr=8-1&keywords=photive+hydra

His review:

*  Fantastic

*  Looks good

*  Really useful and grips well

*  Loud and doesn't distort

Online reviews were sought out prior to the purchase and a lot of folks said it's great for inside or outside.  Plus it's often on sale.

Stay safe,

don

Windows 7 BlueTooth speakers aren't exciting. Windows Won't connect automatically to BT or default to it.

At work I launched 2 BT in 2 Conference rooms, the biggest nightmare was educating users they must turn the BT speaker on, tell the PC to connect, and then they could get audio.

My two cents worth from the two I installed.

I would echo andy's suggestion to go look at the The Wirecutter article.   Based on their recs a few years ago i bought a UE Boom and its pretty great.  Its rugged and I wouldn't hesitate to take it to the beach.  If I was going to get another one I would get another UE something.
