dalmer
Hello there, I recently purchased the following for my son: http://www.amazon.com/Photive-Waterproof-Wireless-Bluetooth-Shockproof/dp/B00K589F8A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1455757684&sr=8-1&keywords=photive+hydra His review: * Fantastic * Looks good * Really useful and grips well * Loud and doesn't distort Online reviews were sought out prior to the purchase and a lot of folks said it's great for inside or outside. Plus it's often on sale. Stay safe, don
andy
I have an original Jambox that I use in the car to listen to podcasts. It's fine for that, but not up to listening to music (no low end). This might be useful: http://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-bluetooth-speaker/
Skkipper
On my short list currently is the JBL charge+ but I don't know if I want to spend $130 on a speaker.
Romans832
Windows 7 BlueTooth speakers aren't exciting. Windows Won't connect automatically to BT or default to it. At work I launched 2 BT in 2 Conference rooms, the biggest nightmare was educating users they must turn the BT speaker on, tell the PC to connect, and then they could get audio. My two cents worth from the two I installed.
Skkipper
The Bluetooth speakers will use the Bluetooth to connect to phone. I would use the 3.5mm connector to connect to pc

Romans832
I have one of the JLB speakers over a year old now but still really good speaker. Our two JBL have been going at least 2 years and they still sound amazing! So This is a second BG!
Dreg
I would echo andy's suggestion to go look at the The Wirecutter article. Based on their recs a few years ago i bought a UE Boom and its pretty great. Its rugged and I wouldn't hesitate to take it to the beach. If I was going to get another one I would get another UE something.
Brother Glacius
I'm pretty sure I have the flip 2 from JBL. Charge lasts a good while, doesn't take too long to charge in the first place, and it handles pairing very well. Sound is great. When we painted our street last summer, I was using it with my phone for out outdoor sound system. Was plenty loud in a very open space.
