AbusePuppy Posted July 28, 2016 Report Share Posted July 28, 2016 The Gladius is limited to the Auxiliary choices listed in the codex; you are, of course, free to take additional formations if you please, but they will not be part of the Gladius. Most of the chapter-specific multiformations aren't as good as the Gladius, it's true. Competing with a dozen free transports is a pretty high bar to measure to. IW Raptors Posted July 29, 2016 Report Share Posted July 29, 2016 Most of them, get fluffy and reasonable bonuses rather then a bunch of free stuff! Although they usually only require one Demi company or an equivalent as a core option and have some nice extra auxiliary choices. I'm playing around with the Talon strike force and the marine psychic powers, lots of shenanigans.
