  1. We're taking a short (1-week) break from posting a new page, and instead I have a killer assortment of cosplay photos from Emerald City Comic Con 2015. Check it out: http://midnightsmasque.com/2015/03/31/eccc-2015-cosplay/ A small sample...
  2. @brick - fo shizzle. Spread the word! And the last page of this issue is up. The battle is over, but is it also the end of Mac? http://midnightsmasque.com Enjoy!
  3. I like that approach! And the latest page is live. Mac meets Vitriol... and stabs her. http://midnightsmasque.com/
  4. LOL, thanks for the eagerness! The next page is up, and I'm even late getting here to post about it. So here is the preview pic!
  5. A brief respite - Mac meets Dulcet. MM#6 Page 4 is now live.
  6. A tough night for Mac - that keeps getting worse! Midnight's Masque #6 Page 3 is now live on MidnightsMasque.com.
  7. You'll just have to keep tuning in each week!
  8. And here's the first weekly update. Teddy bear vs teddy bear - the brawl begins! Check it out in Midnight’s Masque Ep 6 - Pg 2 on midnightsmasque.com.
  9. Hey Ordos, I spent most of last year unplugged from Ordo and gaming, and spent that time focused on creating a webcomic called Midnight's Masque. When I had the first mini-issue, or episode, completed (seems forever ago now), I posted here and got a lot of great feedback and support. Now we're already into Episode 6 and I'm committing 2015 to finishing the story and spreading the word to build up fans. I appreciate anyone who wants to read it and be a part of this fun adventure! MIDNIGHT’S MASQUE: a tale of dreams, disguises, and dolls. Follow the adventures of Maquette the Bear as he protects his ward from the terrible truths in the dark. Danger lurks in every shadow, and friends are few and far, but his fate is forever entwined with his charge, and he will see it through. I took the first print issue to Rose City Comic Con, sold out all my copies, and got some really great feedback from readers who loved it. That is what got me fired up to get the whole story produced. I got commitments from my artists and we're busy cranking away with the goal of getting everything made this year. Here are some helpful links: The main site: http://midnightsmasque.com/ I publish a new page every Tuesday, but you can start at the beginning here: http://midnightsmasque.com/comic/midnights-masque-1-cover/ If you like having digital or print issues, you can find store links here: http://midnightsmasque.com/issues/ Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope you enjoy Midnight's Masque. I'll start posting updates here along with my new page every Tuesday. Please let me know what you think!
  10. If you like that, you may enjoy my comic book. It's about teddy bears protecting kids from monsters in the night... http://midnightsmasque.com/
  11. Great review, BroG, and pretty much how I felt when the credits rolled. Not a glorification of war, but certainly seemed to revel in the violence - especially the beheadings by various projectiles. I also agree with Munkie, the breakfast scene was the best part of the movie for me. Way more intense than the painfully predictable blaze of glory final act.
  12. Due to lots of PMs, I updated the first post with list stuff.
  13. I'm going to clear out a lot of 40K stuff and I don't want to waste time listing stuff out unless there's genuine interest is purchasing. I'd like to sell these armies as lots, so if you have the inclination and cash handy, ping me. All of these were created as allied contingents for 6th edition, so they started out with at least 2 Troops, 1 HQ, and usually an Elite, FA, HS that was the real jewel. They all grew beyond that, though, and are great starter or add-on blocks. I have: Space Marines (mostly bare/primered, some NIB) Imperial Guard (some painted, some NIB) Chaos Space Marines (unpainted, many sprues) Necrons (some paint, some primer, some sprues) Orks (a metric ton of these, at least 2 armies' worth, including all but the newest 7e units) EDIT: with a lot of people PM'ing interest, I'll post some lists here. I haven't double-checked all of this, so I guarantee them to be at least 90% accurate. :-) SPACE MARINES 1 Captain (metal) 2 Vets (metal) 2 Chaplains (1 JP, metal) Techmarine, servo-harness (Ultra paint) MARINES: Tac - Pl, PC Tac - Pl, PC Tac - Fl, MM Tac - Fl, ML Tac - Fl, ML Spec - Pl Spec - Melta 4 Devs - PC, Las, HBx2 3 Marines in bitz: Fl, ML, PF+Ch 10 Scouts - ML 7 Scouts (converted to Servitors) 1 Drop Pod 4 Rhinos/Razorbacks 22 ASSAULT MARINES: 7 Assault Marines (no JP) 5 Assault Marines (JP, chaos conversions) 10 Assault Marines (unassembled) 43 TERMINATORS: 18 Terminators 12 Terminator Assault (6 LC, 6 TH) 8 Terminator Sergeants 1 Terminator Apothecary 4 Terminator Heavies (2 AC, 2 HF) Dreadnought, PF, Las (metal, blue) Dreadnought, PF, Las (metal, green) Land Speeder, Typhoon Missiles (Ultra paint) Land Raider Crusader (Ultra paint) Predator (Ultra paint) 2 Vindicators IMPERIAL GUARD (All Cadians) 5 Infantry Squads (1 w/GL & Vox already, but 8 man) 2 NIB Inf Squads 5 Flamers 2 GLs 3 Vox 2 bags of metal Command figs, including 2E Cadians) 3 HB teams 5 Lascannon teams 3 ML teams Sprues of extra HW and SWs 1 Valkyrie (painted) 2 Leman Russ w/magnetic weapons (painted) 2 Leman Russ (sponson weapons broken, painted) CHAOS SPACE MARINES Psychic Cards Terminator Lord (sprue) Daemon Prince (black paint) 2 Helbrutes (sprue/assembled) 3 Terminators (sprue, 1 assembled) 1 Rhino (assembled) 1 Defiler (painted pink) 3 sets of Dark Vengeance Chosen and Lords (20 figs?) 30 or 40 Cultists (whatever 2 sets is) 10+ Possessed plus sprues Maulerfiend (assembled, fully magnetized) Heldrake (assembled) NECRONS 1 Overlord (Finecast, painted white) 1 Lord (metal, painted white) 1 Lord (plastic) 1 Imohtek (Finecast, NIB) 17 Warriors (painted white) 16 Warriors (painted steel, plus legs for 1 more) 14 Warriors in bitz (plus lots of other bitz) 2 Night Scythes (primed black, missing teleporter dish on bottom) 6 Wraiths (primed black) 1 box (5) of Immortals/Deathmarks 10 Immortals/Deathmarks (only bodies assembled, bitz included) 10 Immortals w/TCs (bare plastic) 5 Triarch Praetorians (partially assembled) 3 Scarabs (bare plastic) 8 Scarabs (painted white) 8 Destroyers (painted white, some gun conversions) 1 Annihilation Barge (primed black, twin-linked TCs are unglued so it can be a command barge) 1 Monolith (painted white) Bag of Bitz ORKS Tons of stuff. 14. Here's the pic. This was a werewolf BB team. There are 9 straight wolf conversions, 3 with a mix of wolf bodies and human legs, and 1 converted Thunderwolf as the boss.
  15. I did the exact same conversion (tails + chaos hounds) to make 13 of these guys for a BB team. They're even painted. Interested in those?
  16. Time for the too-lazy-to-look-it-up-myself question: has FW released general updates for their models? As in assigning Factions to them? Are all the FW Ork models assigned to the Ork Faction, with Battlefield Roles defined and whatnot?
  17. Hello Ordos! As part of the move to IPS (our site platform), the Senate has always intended to evolve the look and feel of Ordo to make it not only the best online gaming community, but the coolest-looking one, too. The Senate went through a vetting process for new themes for IPS and has selected one that we will transition to. The change is long overdue, because of my schedule conflicts, but will take place before the end of July. I'm posting this news to both alleviate the surprise factor, and also to make sure I've committed myself and stop stalling. You can preview the new theme, Simplify, here: http://community.invisionpower.com/files/file/5417-simplify-by-ips-themes/ Please note this is only the first part of the evolution, and we hope to bring additional incremental changes to life once this big step is out of the way.
  18. FYI, in the White Dwarf with the Looted Wagons, there is a specific call-out for putting them with a Morkanaut to get the KFF protection. I think somebody was wondering if the Mork KFF extended 6" and it seems so, at least according to WD staffers.
  19. Remember there are no "Codex" affiliations in 7E. According to the icon in the center of the header, he is part of the Imperial Knights Faction.
  20. The army selection chapter is very specific that a CAD must be comprised of units with the same Faction (or no Faction). I don't see any rule about other CADs needing to be the same Faction. So the only purpose the Allied Detachment serves is to reduce the requirement of 2 Troops down to 1. Correct?
  21. Ah, okay, that makes sense about Allies. You can get away with an Allied Detachment that has Troops with ObjSec, while your main army does not. That's cool. Looks like you could take 3 CADs with minimal HQs & Troops in order to get 3 LOWs, like Ghaz and 2 Stompas. Sounds a lot like an Unbound list.
  22. It also looks like you can take an Allied Detachment and make a Character in it your Warlord. I guess that makes sense for things like the Inquisition, but kinda weird for something like SMs and Tyranids.
