I saw the movie before I read the book (HERESY!!!) and I thought the sound guns were awesome. Then I read the book and was like, WTF? the Weirding is martial arts and no sound guns?? Then I realized the book was brilliant and became a fan of both, but especially the worms.

I do miss boardgames with the nuclear option, like Supremacy and Nuclear War. The shadow of nuclear war was such a defining paranoia of our childhood.

The Knights are cool, but what about the Legion of the Damned codex in pretre's first thumbnail? That sounds pretty intriguing, too. Says they can ally with any Imperial army, so now you're talking about a possible army of metal behemoths and ghosts - all with a 4++.
