  1. I have a bag of Orks, a box of Blood Angels, and a mini-size printout of the rulebook I can sell you for $180. Deal?
  2. So I need a CAD with at least 1 HQ and 2 Troops, and then I can add on any Formations I want. But Troops in those Formations will not get Objective Secured, but may get specific Formation rules. Okay, pretty sure I get it.
  3. The Ghaz supplement has a lot of formations (listed below from rumors), but I'm still curious how they work in list building. Can you mix and match any formations in Bound? Do you just pick one to be your primary detachment and pick the warlord? Or are detachments and formations totally separate things that don't mix?
  4. Seems like the detachment with 9 troops, plus a weirdboy with Malefic, and a few boxes of daemon figs would be a lovely assault army. Not your grandfather's orks.
  5. Holy crap, MikhailLenin is Jon Snow!!
  6. Bummer about Deff Rollas. They always were too good to be true, but it's sad to see them drop so hard.
  7. I'd like to move these guys out to make way for the moar orkses. I'll get photos soon, but if you already know what Necrons look like you're pretty much set. The stuff that is painted white is good tabletop quality. 1 Overlord (Finecast, painted white) 1 Lord (metal, painted white) 1 Lord (plastic) 1 Imohtek (Finecast, NIB) 17 Warriors (painted white) 16 Warriors (painted steel, plus legs for 1 more) 14 Warriors in bitz (plus lots of other bitz) 2 Night Scythes (primed black, missing teleporter dish on bottom) 6 Wraiths (primed black) 1 box (5) of Immortals/Deathmarks 10 Immortals/Deathmarks (only bodies assembled, bitz included) 10 Immortals w/TCs (bare plastic) 5 Triarch Praetorians (partially assembled) 3 Scarabs (bare plastic) 8 Scarabs (painted white) 8 Destroyers (painted white, some gun conversions) 1 Annihilation Barge (primed black, twin-linked TCs are unglued so it can be a command barge) 1 Monolith (painted white) Bag of Bitz
  8. Very characterful. Sounds like a lot of fun on the tabletop.
  9. Armour will melt, soft oomie skin will boil And I'll be doing whatever Burnas do In summer
  10. And if the rumors of the new 7e Starter Set pan out, could be Orks (and Bitz) aplenty! (and some weedy oomans in der poncy tin suits)
  11. Yeah, 9 Troop slots with HQ options to make things Troops would be niiice (in a WAAAGH! way).
  12. Faction-specific Tactical Objectives could be interesting. Orks lootin' stuff during the game and getting VPs for it?
  13. Ha, notice the typo on the page? Unit Composition: 1 Gorkanaut.
  14. Also this: Seems to describe a whole new layout for 7E codexes. No more scattering of rules in sections all over the book and constantly cross-referencing. Instead, you have everything in the Army List section. That would be niiiiice.
  15. It seems that in the new rulebook Super-heavy Walkers (move 12") still follow the normal rules for difficult terrain (move highest of D6 inches). I didn't see anything in the Vehicles section changing this, but did I miss it elsewhere?
  16. I was daydreaming about the implications of the Bubble Chukka coming back... more Orky force field teknowotz... more Invul save bubbles spread around? And perhaps more tellyporta tek? I really like the idea of da boyz not wearing all that poncy armour the soft oomies wear and instead trusting in da oddboyz to keep them alive long enough to WAAAGH! across the board and get in a proppa fight.
  17. Too true - that's a funny intro. Maybe White Dwarf wasn't just rebooted, but retconned by JJ Abrams. Anyone notice more lens flares in it lately? KHAAAAAANNNNN!
  18. Soooo... are Freebooterz in the new codex? It's getting harder to not get dreamy about all the potential Rogue Trader-retro awesome-sauce that could be in it.
  19. The Lifta-Droppa got resurrected by Forge World, with ridiculously complex rules compared to most of 40K, so perhaps Bubble Chukkas could make it back from the dead, too. I have a lot of fond memories of taunting opponents to risk shooting their own guns after being (possibly) enveloped by a bubble.
  20. It sure looks like new plastic Mega-Nobz chumming up with the 'Naut in this pic. WD describes the Nauts as mega-armour that has gotten totally out of control for a zealous Nob. It would be sweet if they can form units with MANZ.
  21. There are a ton of references to all of the great source material for Orks from the Rogue Trader-era books. I hope even a smidgen of that is in the new codex and we return to the days of meaningful clans and even freebooterz.
  22. Oh, bummer. Red Seas was already a big step down from Lies of Locke Lamora, so it's a shame to see the downward spiral.
