I would have to have the HOG review the rule as published questions - stick with how the stats are in IA:11 or depending on each question - pull the new stats / rules? not sure how that was handled before. My guess - it would be stats and rules as they are written in the IA:11 book or most current for the specific units in question. So - warp hunter as in IA:11 or in APOC book? not sure. -d

OK - After reading all the todo about the new Eldar Codex - and "broken / cheese…etc." I have been thinking I may just do my long waiting project for Eldar Corsairs. How do folks feel about this list for the OFCC team event. (Rather than an update to my Wraithwall list from last years OFCC). Sticking to the fluff and pretty much feel of the corsairs in the IA list. This is a rough quickly compiled version of the AB list… for review. Trying to stick to it being a fluffy - deep striking quick attack list - glass hammer. Not made to capture and hold - rather more for quick strikes. As with my typical army - the list is for fun and for the theme. Most of the army will deep strike - and pour out lots of pulse fire. Flyers lend a hand with air support. The Nightwing to hunt flyers as job #1 - then tanks. The Bomber will try to work on troops and supporting the main assault. I'm not sure as to the specific weapon load outs at this point. But this is stuff I have been collecting - and is kinda waiting to be painted. well - last year I ran Wraith Wall … lol. Which I had thought of just updating slightly - and finish painting them. ( I picked up the newer wraith guard to replace my old smaller ones over the winter). But now I am pretty sure that list will be hard to get in. Currently I am thinking I may just gather up old figures i have and run a corsair list to avoid the whole new codex controversy this time around lol. It will still be valid as far as I know… although maybe a bit of a to far jump in the weak direction. Although, hornets with pulse lasers… falcons… 2 flyers and warp hunter will be lots of dakka. - I will run through the list and post something up soon. -d

i guess we will see what becomes allowable at OFCC (team) … or ITC for that matter.

unfortunately - this seems close to true - if no one wants to play against the new codex… its gunna be a tough codex/edition to get a game -d

i am taking fungus again with the difference in team value - and I hope my own fanatic gets some kills this game :). Although I am guessing the score won't be a factor in the match. Are there any bounty's on Frosty's team? -d

ouch - (in reference to the image confirming "D". --- I found out about it through the frontline thread… which is why I think of it that way… but I'm not starting a new army at this point in the cycle. And if the community feels that the Eldar are now broken - (could be ..not sure). I have been playing them for over 20 years … boon or bust times. When they are weak - I play - when they have been strong - I play… now they will be "broken" - so I will play and be dubbed cheese master. - I will have evaluate my long term dilemmas within my 40k hobby. -d

I've asked - and been told D is also not allowed at either event. But I will send an email and get a definitive answer today… Also - I have a wraithwall army - played it last year.. not starting over from scratch at this point in the game. Although, I agree - until we have a codex in hand - it will all be rumors. -d

... I have started and stopped my OFCC list because of all this Frontline no D's and now new codex stuff… maybe I should just get a refund lol… and just play in the open?? oh wait… maybe just go camping. -d

hmmm the current league has 16 teams by my count… that can easily be decided into a primer division and a standard division. Would we be allowed more than one team for each player? I like my gobbo team - and I am learning with each game a longer league would allow me to only get better at playing bloodbowl. Only playing BB every other year really makes it hard for my old brain to remember crap. The "bye" week would be nice - (every 4/5th week) or something. If I felt like I because "solid" at playing my teams - I would definitely be interested in a 2 day event locally. -d

yeah - I had the initial feeling that I was SOL… just wanted to be sure. As far as the inducements go - I think I have forgot that bit before the 2 matches that I have had… but a bribe or 2 will do the trick possibly. I will have to re-read through those areas again. -d
